Save Your Face

I have been woodturning for several years; occasionally, a piece of wood will come off the lathe, and it usually hits the banjo and goes flying over my head. But recently, I was turning a piece of wood that weighed about 4 lb., spinning at about 350 RPM, and it flew off the lathe, missed the banjo, and hit me squarely in my face. Fortunately, I was wearing my Uvex face shield, and no undertaker was needed. I did not get a scratch. The only thing I had to do was straighten my face shield. I never put a piece of wood on the lathe without putting on my face shield first. BE SAFE, NOT SORRY

Last one was pretty foggy after 10+ years

The last one was finally scratched and cracked enough that it had to be replaced. You don't realize how hard you're struggling to see until you put a new visor on. Hopefully this one makes it just as long as the last one.

Perfect protection. Highly trusted.

I TRUST and use these shields at work and home while operating angle grinders. They are way THICKER than other shields out there. CLEAR???? . And plenty of coverage and protection. Note: protective layers of film on both sides must be removed before using. DUH! There is a MISleading photo of this shield as blurred,lol, by someone who only has negative reviews in there profile, btw. Must be hard not knowing if you should put on your shoes or socks first each day. I put these shields to the test DAILY withs HOURS of GRINDING on STEEL. I HIGHLY TRUST. LONG LASTING.

Great fit and clear.

Ordered to replace a scratch up lense. Fit perfectly. For people complaining it's not clear, you have to remove the plastic screen protectors on each side. Otherwise yes you will not be able to see thru it. Highly recommended for the uvex s8550.

Me siento protegida

Compré la careta porque iba a viajar y ahora la sigo utilizando, es muy cómoda y tiene una amplia cobertura, lo que me hace sentirme segura. Puedo usar mis lentes y el cubrebocas sin problema, se puede levantar en la parte frontal para mayor comidad; se ajusta muy bien y permite visibilidad en un campo amplio. Lo mejor es que cubre perfectamente los lados y abajo de la barbilla.

Misleading ad-useless product if you want to see what you are doing

Like the lens that came with the face shield, it is not a clear lense...looks like what the photographers used to do by coating their lense with vaseline...their ad said it was clear...must have a different definition of clear than I do...totally useless to me since I work on a wood lathe and need to see clearly what I am doing...pls give this the lowest rating possible...bad...Robb Ogilvie

Thick sturdy shield

product is ok pretty thick and sturdy. for me not worth the price for my main purpose is to prevent people cough saliva on COVID 19 hence for my use I don't need strong/heavy duty material.

Anti Fog is Best

Good value replacement for the face shield. Glad they don't force customers to buy a whole new shield when shield insert is damaged. Antifog is much better than plain
