Great product, wrong size in description.
It’s 27”x27” and not 28”x28” as it says in the description. Good thing I waited till the product arrived before built my custom encasing for my dart board.

Works but could be better
The board is too dense and darts sometimes bounce off and fall off. Keep a protective mat ready under if you want to protect the floor. Otherwise it works as designed and keeps he wall safer

Great value
Comes with bracket to mount board. Predrilled holes to mount board to the wall make installation easy. Darts stay under normal game play, but don't seem to go through. So I'd say it does what it's intended for.

Overall I’m satisfied with the product but still confused as to why ...
Not quite 1/2 an inch thick. I used some upgraded hardware and the mounting screws stuck out about another 1/2 inch off the back so I used the styrofoam packing material for extra leeway between the wall and the board. The pilot holes were awkward and a bit illogical unless you hang it diagonal but hidden behind the board for a sleeker look. I don’t miss the board often but the 2 times I have so far they didn’t bounce out. Overall I’m satisfied with the product but still confused as to why a thin sheet of styrofoam glued to a thin piece of plywood covered in some fake satin material costs so much.

Great dart board back for any area
Heavy and does what its supposed to. Made well and has nice appearance fir your dart board. Enough space around all sides to protect your walls from dart misses. Heavy and hangs nicely. Price was acceptable. We would recommend this product for sure.

A bit flimsy, poor quality control, design flaws
There are few issues with this backboard that make it hard for me to recommend. First, the MDF backing is really thin and flimsy, more like the 1960s pegboard. I'm not convinced it is going to reliably carry the weight of my dartboard. Time will tell. Second, this Made in China board has terrible quality control. The wall mounting holes, on mine, were drilled on the horizontal axis, rather than the vertical, as they should have been (and the manual shows). Third, the dart board mounting bracket was set for diagonal mounting; when I changed it to square, using their pre-drilled holes, it is crooked. I tried to adjust as best I could. Still...not even. On top of all that, the felt-like material was already unglued on two of four edges, so I added a little glue before putting it up. Finally, the bolts and safety nuts that hold the board mounting bracket to the backer board protrude on the back side, meaning the board cannot sit flush on the wall--those two bold heads stand a little more than an eighth of an inch proud. If you are mounting on drywall, they will dig into the wall (not just scratch, but dig a little hole). I noticed this while trying to mount mine, so I put some painters tape over them to minimize the damage. Still--why not recess these? Well, the answer is simple--the "MDF" is so thin (maybe 1/4") that there is not enough thickness to do so. Bottom line--this is a REALLY cheap, poorly made backer board. Amazon returns on items like this aren't worth it, because of return shipping costs. So I am leaving this review so the next person thinking about this product will have a better idea of what they are getting, and what they are not, than I did. I do not recommend, at all. Spend a little more, get a better backer board.

Nice backboard but darts dont always stick
Stops stray darts from hitting the wall. Good size for beginners to not have to worry about them hitting the wall. Easy set up and solid construction Looks pretty good too. Darts dont always stick in it, and will often hit the backboard, and fall straight off. Overall it stops darts from hitting the wall, looks pretty good, but if youre worried about breaking your darts from darts hitting the floor then this might not be for you

Far too expensive!
The item is basically a thin board of what feels like wood with a thin fabric cover glued on. Very disappointed.

Works fine
I would have like to seen the foam thicker. If someone miss the dart board and hits the foam, you can hear as the dart goes through the foam and sticks in to the wall.

Pretty sweet
Great backboard but wasn’t quite easily set up for the way my dartboard hangs so I had to figure something out. But it looks awesome!

Definitely worth the money. A great backdrop
At first I thought this was a lot of money to spend but it has proven to be worth every penny. It saves your wall from errant darts and looks great in the process. You can't even see where a dart had hit it. Worth the money for casual and serious dart players alike
