My mom loves this!

I bought this as a gift for my mom and she loves it! I was a bit worried that the smell would be overwhelming because she can be a bit sensitive but she told me it's actually quite pleasant! I usually buy her candles from Bath & Body Works but I didn't have the money this year. I'm really glad this candle was similar quality!

Great throw!

This was a replacement candle for the first one I ordered that came shattered. It came in a bigger box wrapped in duct tape supported by plastic air bags. I could smell the candle as soon as opening the box. The size and double wick feature is a great deal for the price. I burned it in my kitchen and could almost immediately smell delicious pancakes. The throw travelled through each room pretty quickly which was definitely impressive. Definitely recommend purchasing… as long as it comes properly packaged lol

My only complaint is that the scent is SO delectable it makes me want to bake cookies, or make pancakes! This is perhaps the nicest-smelling candle I have ever bought...just amazing.

This candle smells wonderful, I have gotten many compliments. It has a great throw and is slow even burning. I have never had a bad experience with Village Candles.

Happy and disappointed

Love this candle and it smells soo good BUT it arrived BROKEN so I couldn't give this 5 stars!!

These types of candles are toxic for your dog and can be toxic for you as well.

My shitzu began to act really strange after the candles had been burning for about 45 minutes I thought the poor dog was having a stroke. So I did some investigating about the candles I was purchasing and came to find this information. I will no longer be lighting these candles. Paraffin Wax Most of the candles in the market are made of paraffin wax. Theoretically, the paraffin wax is slightly toxic for your dog. If consumed, the paraffin wax will create digestive issues at the very least. In severe cases, it can lead your dog into a coma. Also, as the paraffin wax is created from petroleum waste, it releases carcinogens when burned.

If i could eat it I would.

Yum. This candle smells amazing, exactly like maple and sweets and pancakes and toffee and yum and caramel and sweets and cakes and yum and.... I'm off the the bakery to buy some cake. Seriously, its delicious, strong scented and fragrances a large area. The two wicks mean there is no tunnelling and so hopefully no wastage. Visitors comment on it straight away but I feel they are always slightly disappointed you are not going to whip some delicious home baking out of the oven at any moment! I do find this candle stronger than some of the Yankee Candle scents but they all seem to vary so much I couldn't say if this is true of all Village Candles. The only slight oddity is that the next day after burning there is a slightly spicy smell around, like you cooked a curry the night before. Its not unpleasant though and wouldn't put me off buying more.

Strong, especially compared to Yankee

The last 5-6 yankee candles I have bought I haven't been able to get a good whiff, of the scent. Having bought a Village candle previuosly (brownie one) I thought I'd try another. The double wick means there is no tunneling and the scent of this was strong, filled the room. Would reccomend and would buy again

Olor dulce

La vela huele bien, es bastante dulce. Me imaginaba un olor un poco diferente pero igual es agradable. No lo recomendaría a las personas que no gusten de los olores dulces porque puede ser un poco empalagoso.
