Excellent value for light to mid-weight touring
First impression during installation was that it was a very sturdy, well thought out product. Only time will tell if the plastic mounts and plastic cage will hold up in the sun over time. I originally thought of going with a metal cage, but I could not justify the cost for the amount of touring that I do. However, so far so good with these cages. Also, I love the fact that it comes with all the necessary mounts. There are three of them per cage. A tip, if I might: don't over tighten the mounts. There is no need to. A firm tighten with an allen wrench is all that it needs. I would also like it known that I would have given a little bit higher review if those screw clamps felt a little bit more durable. And, I might add that the straps, actually webbing, don't keep their taughtness around the bottles. I will go with voile straps to hold on water bottles. Voile straps keep better tension on what they're holding. The webbing straps and buckles that come with the cage just loosen up in a short period of time. I have purchased four of these cages now, two for each bike, and so far I am pleased with the purchase. Again, time will tell if all of the vinyl clamps and plastic cages hold up over time.

It's a bit heavy.
Not a bad piece of cycling equipment, I liked the size and construction but the weight was a drag, I like the Blackburn cages a bit more.

Just barely fits on the downtube, holds down puffer jacket
I bought this to hold my light weight down puffer jacket on the down tube. From the pictures, you can see it does fit, but with less than 1mm clearance on either side of the crank arms. Would be nice to have a little more clearance, but i guess the space is maximized this way. I could always shave it down a bit if needed. I have the VersaCage installed on my 2022 Specialized Sirrus X 5.0. Overall, happy I'm able to use this otherwise wasted space for storage on my bike.

Secure mounting
I mounted these directly to the fork-mounts on my Salsa. The cages have four mounting slots, so you have the option of lower/higher mounting. These worked perfectly for carrying my stove kit on one fork and HydraPak 3L on the other. Well over 100 off-road miles and no issues…strong and secure.

Hard strap management.
The cage is great but when you need to grab the cargo and get it into your tent during the rain, and strap it back on the next morning in the rain, then you will see the advantage of a click and go system like that on the Ortlieb Fork Pack panniers.

It's OK if you have no other choice
I purchased 2 sets of these and mounted the cages to my Fox32 fork for a bike packing trip. They worked OK, but I had a lot of problems overall. I probably won't use these on my next trip. Pros: -Install a cage anywhere (basically true unless the tube diameter is too small or strangely shaped) -Pretty light and more economical than other cages/mount system Cons: -The way the clamp strap works and the thickness of the plastic puts a hard crease in the plastic when you really tighten down the clamp strap. Hard to say how long this will survive. -The straps clamps have a large plastic adjustment screw to tighten the clamp which can be easily damaged by tools -The silver screw that attaches to your bottle cages/versacage is very finely threaded which can cause cross threading and destroy the clamp (see more in next point) - When you tighten down the clamp, the location of the silver mounting screw will begin to rotate around the tube you're installing the clamp to because of the way the tightening mechanism works. This means it becomes very hard to align all of the clamps at once (you need 3 for the cage) unless you evenly tighten all of them simultaneously. -The cage bolt holes are perfectly in the way of the included strap's path. You'll have an unnatural fold around the back of the cage instead of the strap sitting flat -The straps are either too low or too high to really secure something like a dry bag. I had 10L dry bags that would either slip out from the top strap or the bottom strap, or both. -The straps easily loosen over road vibrations, definitely would recommend an upgraded strap. I dropped one of my bags a few times on my trip going over offroad terrain.

Great add on
I picked these up for a 700 mile trip and they held up great! The mounting system is good for those that don’t have boss’ on their forks but I’d recommend putting a few wraps of duct tape on the fork to help hold it in place. I used electrical tape and once it warmed up the bags kept sliding down. I used Voile straps instead of the ones it came with. Much easier to get your bag in and out and the rubber held it more securely. I used 5l dry bags in mine and they worked great.

Flexible mounting options.
I was looking for a cage (three actually) to mount on my gravel bike so that I could do some bike packing. I looked at the Blackburn and Gorilla options but kept coming back to the Versacage due to the flexibility of its mounting options and ease of removal. On the forks of my bike it has three mounting points and the Versacage comes with four allowing you to mount it higher or lower on the bike. It also has keyhole shaped holes so that you don’t have undo the screws all of the way to remove the cage. The included Versamounts also allows you to mount the cage to the forks or frame even if you don’t have bottle mounts. The straps that come with it are also well made. The 3kg capacity is more than enough for me to attach my sleeping bag and tent etc to the forks. Let’s face it, any more weight than that would just make the bike difficult to ride.

自転車チェアリングデビューに
テレビのニュースで紹介されていたチェアリングがしたくなって購入しました。 ミニベロを買ってポタリングの機会が増えたことからポタリング＋チェアリングが俄然魅力的に思えてきたのです。 ぱちノックスをシートピラーに付けるので，強度より固定のしやすさ，固定するのにVersaMountクランプが付いていて別途購入の必要がなかったこと，樹脂製で軽く椅子の収納袋にフィットするもの，と考えて本製品になりました。シートピラーが一番見た目がすっきり収まるのでこれで良かったですがね。 私は比較的長身でピラーも長い物に交換しているので収まりましたが，ピラーの出が少ないともう付くとこらはないですね。VersaMountクランプは3個付いていました。これで本体に四箇所あるネジ穴のうちの三箇所を使って固定できます。もちろんボトル台座も利用できますが，私のミニベロは折りたたみ部分のフランジが干渉して取り付け不可でした。 まずVersaMountクランプの取り付けですが，ちょっと癖があってバンドを締め込むと位置がズレてきます。 あらかじめズレを計算しておかないと，付けたいラインに収まりません。しかも締め込むネジは樹脂製で，六角レンチが舐めるとアウト。力加減も必要です。 付属のベルトはワンタッチではなくUの字に引っ掛けるタイプです。余った部分が暴れないようにするゴムが通してあります。 早速ぱちノックスをつけて近所の河原へ出かけてきました。 収納袋ががたついたりズレることなく足にも干渉せず快適でした。 このまま自転車に固定しっぱなしで気に入った場所があればそこでチェアリングできるなんて最高です。
