I did it one piece at a time, and it didn't cost me but 10 bucks
**Update** I've been using this for a few months now, and it is still as awesome as the first use. The biggest change is that I now use a latex glove to apply the goop to my skin and wash it off, mainly because my nails are brittle and I don't know if this was making it worse or it was a coincidence. It's still awesome, but I've given up using it on anything but my legs. The face isn't a problem anymore, and the downstairs is just too annoying to use more than for special occasions because I need help to be as smooth as I get from shaving, and it doesn't last long enough to make it worth the effort. **Original review** If you're reading this, you're skeptical. Over 50k reviews on one product, and most people give it 5 stars, so you want to know what's the catch. There's no way something this magical can come out of a silly pink bottle, and the hair removal Venn diagram overlap between easy, fast, and cheap is a unicorn that takes you to Hogwarts to meet Aragorn and save the Black Pearl. Let me tell you, Aragorn is taller than I expected. I originally bought this for my older (teenage) daughter. She has horribly sensitive skin, and gets the worst razor burn from shaving her legs. But we live on the face of the sun, so shorts are required to not die for the 11.5 months of summer, and life can get rough. I did a bunch of research on options for her, and everything I read online had this product at the top of the list. I had a run in with Nair long ago and still have a scar from the chemical burn during the patch test on my leg, so was extremely hesitant, but I decided to give in to her begging and let her give it a try after reading so many positive reviews. She looked like a naked mole rat, but the happiest one ever because after slathering the cream on and waiting 8 minutes, her legs were completely smooth and no razor burn! It was amazing! A happy teenager does exist! Her results got me thinking, and I decided to give it a shot myself. My test patch was MUCH smaller than the swath of leg the daughter used, but 10 minutes later, no more and no less, the hair came off. Mostly. But my hair is much more thick and dark from years of shaving, though my lower legs are usually epilated so the hair doesn't grow quick as thick. I figured it was at least a good jump on epilating, so went ahead and did as the Johnny Cash song states, doing one part at a time. I was paranoid about getting burned, so did my lower legs one at a time, then each upper leg. By then, I was feeling bullet proof. Two (mostly) smooth legs, no burns, and no issues? Bring on the bikini area. But I had read the reviews, and I wanted to be smooth aallll over, so to hell with it, I did it all. ALL. It didn't work quite as well in the netherworld as on my legs, but the hair is also much thicker. I then jumped in the shower to wash the magical fairy snot of the gods from my skin, and lo, angels began singing as I started scrubbing. I have an exfoliating mitt that I keep my bar of soap in, and as I lathered on the soap, the remaining hair on my legs vanished. It was still patchy down below, but nothing a quick swipe with a razor couldn't fix. Now dried, I looked in the mirror. Bulletproof? Nay, I was Achilles, and nothing could harm me, including a smear of miracle goo on a few problem areas on my face. However, I am a careful Greek hero, so I only set the timer for 4 minutes. That was all it took for my face to be perfectly smooth and the fine but dark and obvious hairs to be gone. To top it off, my dry and flaky self was neither dry nor flaky! I used only a tiny bit of coconut oil, rather than the copious amounts my skin usually absorbs to be soft and touchable. We both smeared on a good amount of the cream where we wanted the hair to be gone, using our hands and washing them immediately. And by good amount, I mean you don't want to see hair stubble. It's $10, so don't be stingy. Then wait your time, using a timer, and scrape it off with the plastic thing, going against the hair. Be careful with areas that have folds or creases, because letting them touch will mess up the layer of goop and give you bad results. I'm 100% sure my less than stellar outcome below was due to not being careful to keep creases and folds from creasing and folding, so I plan to give it another shot in a few days. My husband likes how my skin feels after using Veet, so maybe I can get a helping hand next time....bow chicka wow wow...

NO horrid chemical smell!
Guys, look no further. This is the stuff you want. First and foremost, it seriously has no horrible/rotten egg/harsh chemical smell, like many of the other brands - and I've tried them all. I think this may be because it's formulated for sensitive skin, so might not be as strong [and I'll address that in a bit], but it just smells pleasant. Also the pump bottle is nice and easy to use, especially if you have some of this stuff on your hands and they're slippery. Works JUST FINE, and I use it from the neck down. Yes, EVERYWHERE from the neck down. PRO TIPS: 1. Depending on the hair you're removing, you might have to leave this on a bit longer than you would other brands. It's a non-issue, really - just leave any of your likely sensitive areas [armpits and down under for me] until last, then start a timer. For me, appx. 7.5 minutes works pretty well. Personally don't use the applicator that comes with the bottle, but YMMV. HINT: ALL depilatory creams work better on shorter hair. If the hair you want to remove is full length, you may want to trim it down to appx. 1/4" with clippers first. 2. This isn't moisturizer, and isn't meant to be applied the same way. You're not meant to work it into your skin - rather, you want to apply a nice thick coating of it over the skin. No need to rub it in - just smooth it over. Once it's all applied, start your timer. If the hair you're trying to remove is fine/thin, you might only need about 5 minutes. As I mentioned before, a few more works better for me, and I think it's because this is formulated a little less strong than others - but it's worth it for the smell, and it's much less likely to burn or irritate your skin, so a few extra minutes is a good trade-off for me. 3. This is the game-changer: when it's time to remove the stuff, don't simply jump in the shower and try to rinse it off. After much trail and error, what I've found works best is: Using either a washcloth or pair of exfoliating gloves [my personal choice - but whatever you pick, you want something with texture that will grab the hairs being removed], stand outside the stream of water and get your cloth/gloves wet. Then, use them to [gently] scrub the area[s] you're removing hair from. Work the stuff into a bit of a lather, making sure you're hitting all the areas from a couple different directions. You don't need to scrub hard, just be thorough. 4. Now you can rinse it off. When it's all done, wash thoroughly with your normal soap/body wash/etc. Your skin will be so smooth it will honestly feel like nothing you've ever felt before. For a second I thought there was maybe still body wash residue on me, because my skin felt almost slick to the touch. Amazing. 5. MOISTURIZE AFTERWARDS. Don't skip this step. It will seriously help to prevent ingrown hairs as the area grows back. This, and make sure to exfoliate regularly in the shower or bath. Hope it helps.

First time user and pleasantly surprised.
I have not used any hair remover product in 30+ years. I'm middle-aged with softer dark hair. I haven't used a basic razor for leg shaving in 10 years. I've been using an "electric" chargeable razor for dry shaving. Veet works fine but I feel most of the hairs break off instead of removing from the root. However, the "hairless" effect does last me up to 4-5 days before I start to feel prickles. I do not find that this works well under my arms. I still have black dots showing after use hinting that the hairs broke off. I will continue to use this product because it worked better than the Nair. At my age, I prefer quick and simple.

Read this if you have thick course hair
I have to use a good amount. Enough to cover my skin to a point where my skin is no longer visible underneath. I never go by the recommended time but, I try not to exceed 20 minutes, especially if I start feeling a burning sensation. I usually know it's ready to come off when I see my hair start to turn dark and become more visible against the white cream. Whenever I shave or epilate my thighs, it gets really itchy when the hair starts to grow back but it doesn't seem to happen with the cream. I also notice less ingrown hairs compared to shaving and epilating. The cream is highly scented to cover the chemical smell. It doesn't smell bad or bother me but I wanted to point it out since some people are sensitive to certain smells. The only downside is the waiting...

Great entertainment for the whole family!
I bought this for my daughter to try on her legs, she's finally at that age and we thought this might be safer than the razor route for her and easier to do, naturally that meant my wife had to use my furry legs as the test subject lol. So we applied it as directed on a *sigh* 5"x4" patch on my leg, we waited 5 minutes and I used the scraper thing and it was clearly coming off but not entirely, so we let it sit the full 10 minutes, then it was like shaving off furry mayonnaise from my leg, "it worked..." they yelled in disbelief, then I got to hear "wow it actually worked ah hahaha Dad" from my wife and my kids, it was hilarious to them to do this to me naturally... So my leg is now nice and smooth on that rectangle section, and there was no irritation or anything afterwards, and I have pretty thick man-fur so I'd say it works really well but I'd recommend you do a few timed tests to see what works best for your legs.

Sensitive skin wonder!
I have really sensitive skin so I hate shaving my bikini line as it leaves me with little red bumps which are so itchy and really hurt. I was looking for a cream that would leave me red bump and itch free! I read the reviews for this cream and found it very mixed. I thought I had nothing to lose, ordered it and it was delivered a few days later. I did the tester 24 hours before on the back of my thigh and left the cream on for 5 mins - all good, no redness and no itch. The scraper that comes along with it is good and makes the application easy. The smell of the cream isn't great but it isn't a really strong smell so win win! I put on the first application and left on for 5 mins - obviously too little time for me as I have thick and coarse hair but it took off some hair. The next application I left on for 10 mins - I read the reviews and it said not to leave on for anymore than 10 mins. I scraped the cream away and the hairs were coming away really easy. This cream leaves a 'stubble look' on me. Any hairs I couldn't get off with the scraper came off in the shower. I have put on the cream about 3 times sincw ordered and every single time i've had no redness, no red bumps and no itchiness. I noticed that 24 hours after the application the area is very sensitive so make sure you were cotton pants or don't wear any tight - I found that if I didn't it would start to get itchy, just because of the rubbing of the materials. I haven't tried on my legs or underarms yet, but I would recommend for bikini line if you don't want to to shave or get waxed. It is also a big bottle so it will do be for a while.

Please read!!!!!! Im so shockeddd
Listen everyone!!! I am shaking im literally shooooook at this product. I got it after reading reviews and was like this will answer my prayers. I got it and it does say do not use on under arms etc etc. After about 1 minute of contemplating i thought screw it and used it everywhere. I was very doubtful and as a woman i thought its not going to work down there. But listen. When i got in the shower it wasn't just hair going down the plug it was tears of joy. I have never been so shocked in my life honestly. I know its only hair removal cream but this has changed everything!!!!! Don't hesitate to buy this. Men and woman. Smooth is an understatement of how i feel. I feel fabulous! Worth every penny.

Misleading Information
This was advertised for use in the genital areas but when the product was received the peel back label stated it was not for use in this area. Steve

Quite disappointed
Was at my wits end with shaving so wanted to try this. It kind of trimmed the hair, but it didn't work at all on some patches which was weird. Covered the whole leg, it shortened some of the hair, didn't do anything to several patches. Leaves it quite prickly as well. Left it on the maximum time allowed. Really disappointed. Guess it's back to razor burns and rashes :(
