Keep on shopping - okay for a buffet table, but that's it!
This one has a ways to go before it is useful. I bought it because our family loves deviled eggs and I make them almost weekly in the warmer weather. I wanted a way to store more deviled eggs, as the container I had only held 12 halves. Not enough! The fact that each tray held 18 halves was really a great thing, so I thought. I also wanted something that wouldn't take up a lot of refrigerator room, and thought this might slide in on top of other items in the fridge. The item came with the two trays and lids shrink-wrapped together. There are little clamps on the egg portion of the tray that hook to the lid portion. Not well, but they hook. There is NOTHING remotely sturdy about this set. You cannot pick it up by the handle. If you think you can quickly grab an egg and pop the lid back on, think again - it is not quick and you will probably need both hands. The tray itself holds the eggs very well. Almost too well - the indentations are deep, and we found ourselves using a fork to get the eggs back out. No big deal, but something you should know about these. They would work very well for a buffet table (that is at your home, and you did not have to transport them in these trays anywhere). Some others have said they put ice in the upside down lid and put the tray on the ice. I could see that being helpful in a picnic situation. Bottom line is that they do not fasten well enough in any way. I would not trust them for transporting eggs. I would not trust lifting them out of the refrigerator. I would not even trust them to keep the eggs fresh, because the seal is not tight on the top/bottom. It basically sits on top of the gg tray, and you use the little latches to pretend to hook the top to the bottom. Meh at best. I would have returned these, but as mentioned, I can see these working well for a buffet or self-serve party situation. That's ALL they would be good for, in my opinion. Just too flimsy for anything else. I have already purchased a different set via Amazon that is perfect for our needs and airtight too. So, if you have a lot of home dinner parties or family dinners, this will work on the food table. If you don't and might want to drive to somewhere and bring your deviled eggs with you, please get a different container.

Served the purpose at a low price; found another use for one of them!
Purchased more or less at the last minute; only one of this pair of trays was needed recently to transport deviled eggs to a supper gathering. The plastic trays I received hold 18 eggs halves each, as per the description at my time of purchase, and short of going to the supermarket for more eggs these were perfect for the 9 eggs I already had in the refrigerator. So the decision was easy to make for this Amazon Prime purchase delivered to my door the morning of the evening I needed them. A deviled egg dish is really the best way to stabilize them and I wanted something akin to the glass deviled egg plate I purchased at a five and ten as a child since I've never seen another one. I was probably practical even back then and the clear glass dish I came home with for a few dollars was not only made well; it was also attractive, and it was used often each summer. That was well over 50 years ago though. Unless you work with these plastic trays often enough to develop a knack for securing them, the snap on lids take some work to fasten, but I had no trouble opening them when full. The lids protected them until we were ready to eat and I've given them four stars because I didn't have high expectations for plastic purchased at this low price. Update_2019-07-23: found another use for one of these containers—great for storing soft-boiled eggs in a minimum of space. I've been cooking my two daily breakfast eggs in one fell swoop for years and storing them in the fridge for reheating each morning. There's a bit of space on the rack under the upper drawer that the covered tray fits very nicely into, which is even better now that I've been buying my organic free-range eggs in 18-count cartons. This frees-up space at the top of the fridge where I can now store two or more cartons since I also purchase in multiples during a once monthly shopping trip.

Decent deviled egg platters
I like very much that they're stackable, but the latching mechanism is terrible and won't last long before they break off. Still nice to have deviled eggs that you can stack on top of.

Easy egg transport
These worked well for deviled eggs. Easy to lock/unlock. Stack. Flimsy but did the job at a low price.

Lesser quality
It did the job but was flimsy, hard to lock closed. I wrapped in Saran wrap to be sure lids wouldn't pop off in transit. Would spend a bit more for better quality,

Lids are useless, don't seal not what I was expecting
The trays are decent and handy but the lids are a joke! As a single guy my go to when invited to social events are deviled eggs as they're relatively easy and inexpensive to make... And everyone loves them. (except my girlfriend) I expected a serving tray with a sealing locking lid, what I got was serving trays with flimsy non fitting lids that don't lock securely or even close tight nevermind seal. Deviled eggs can be prone to causing odours so there's no way you could store in these containers in the refrigerator.

GARBAGE
Do not buy this product. Even IF you manage to get the lids snapped on without demolishing the eggs, the lids have gaps so do not sit tight. I didn't even bother trying them with eggs after the stuggle to even get the lids to snap on. This product went straight to the garbage. Sad that I was forced to give it even ONE star!

Nice for entertaining
I just got these and used them right away. I love the way they look and are easy to use but what I don't like is the plastic is thin and I would say dollar store cheap. I don't foresee these lasting and for the price I would have though they would have been made thicker like Rubbermaid containers instead of the thin type of plastic.

Find something else.
I was expecting them to be more stable, the plastic seems flimsy and is a pain to wash, or carry anywhere when full...I’m always afraid it’s going to fall apart. Not worth the money at all.

Not a sturdy item
They are stackable but found they were not as sturdy as I thought they would be. I think overall, they should be made a bit stronger and more durable. That would make them better for picnic baskets and overall be more durable for everyday use. If one wants to use these as disposable items to use and throw away, they are perfect for this only. The snaps don't snap well for closure. I am always honest!
