Beautiful tray.
Beautiful tray. Perfect size. Only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because there was a blemish by one of the handles right out of the box.

Mine was defective
I really like the size and the color. Its too bad that the legs are lose. When I hold the handle the legs drop. Not all the way but just half way so when I put it down the legs get caught and it becomes this whole debacle. When I try to fold the legs back up again it makes such a loud slamming sound. The whole situation is just annoying. We thought it might be a lose screw but we tightened all the screws and it has not fixed the problem.

Substantial bed tray
This bed tray was sturdy, large top as indicated in description. Nice finish. Plenty of space between fold down legs to place over lap while sitting in bed.

Only one wish
This is a solid tray. I really like it except for one thing…I wish the legs would lock in place. I have to be very careful not to scoot the tray on the bed because the leg will start to fold if I am not careful to pull exactly right. Otherwise, I love it!

Wonderful tray
This thing is great. I've used it to hold dinner while confined to bed during a cold, to hold my knitting supplies and chart while working on the chaise, to hold a computer monitor when I can't bear sitting at my desk any more, and even as a little, short coffee table when guests are over and sitting on the floor. It performs all of these jobs admirably. It's very sturdy -- it held that 13lb computer monitor without complaint, and I've yet to have such a decadent dinner that tops that. The legs are attached to the tray part, and while they're not totally floppy when folded up, they don't stay flat against the bottom of the tray when you pick it up, making it a little suboptimal for loading up in the kitchen and carrying to where ever. It's relatively heavy, too, so it's even less ideal for that. It can be done, but getting the legs kicked out while holding the tray is pretty tough. So, if your main goal is to buy a tray that you can load up in the kitchen and then neatly (and without extra helping hands) sit down with the legs out, this probably isn't your best bet. Maybe one that separates from the legs would do better. But for a short table that fits over your legs while sitting in bed or on a chaise, this thing is fantastic. I use this all of the time -- more than I expected -- and highly recommend it.

Bad quality product
The product has a defective design. On the underside of the tray, the legs a prevented from folding all the way out by some wood blocks that are attached to the sides with handles. The nails and glue used to secure the handles is so weak that the legs will push out and dislodge the handle sides. You’ll probably need to have some wood glue handy if you want this to last.

Very large tray
This table is huge for my doorways. The color is true to pic but please do not expect real wood. The tray almost mimics a picture of wood than that of veneers that I have used. Outside of that my only complaint is that there is not a way to lock the legs in place so the legs do not drop when used as a carrying tray. It’s worth keeping so I’ll come up with a solution.

Exactly what I wanted and expected
My only complaint is that there were two very small chips in the finish, along the edge of the tray. They're not very noticeable unless you are looking for them though, and not anything enough to justify a return. I am very happy with it otherwise: it looks beautiful, I love the shape, and the legs are sturdy.

Sturdy, large bed tray
This bed tray is built very solidly, without being heavy, and features a rim that's just the right height to be functional, but not feel like it's in the way. The legs are also tall enough that it comfortably straddles my body. Also, one of the best things about this tray is that it's generously sized. I really like it!

Just OK
The material making up the table top has an apple-box quality but the rest is pretty solid. These folks did a pretty good job coming up with an appealing marking name for this. $300 name for a $40 table. :D
