Sturdy. Holds almost 4 cups per tray!
I love these ice cube trays. They're very sturdy when filled to say they're flexible silicone. You can twist the frozen tray to help unstick the ice cubes and they stretch, not tear. The little extra beveled bottom has a little extra room for give when pushing the ice cube out when you push dead center of the bottom of the cube. I leave an 1/8" gap from the top when I fill them. This helps spill less when I'm leaning them to put them in the freezer, and the cube will expand to the top when frozen without connecting to the cube next to it. I was making punch for a party and decided to freeze some punch to put in the punch bowl before adding the rest of the liquid to the bowl. I never thought about the volume of these cubes, but I found they hold almost 4 cups of liquid!! So, two trays of ice cubes definitely kept the punch in the bowl cold. I dumped them into the punch bowl, then added the rest of the ingredients. So much better than the stupid ice ring from years ago that you had to try to scrape to get icy bits for your drink. Everybody fished out a cube and put it in their glass! Remember, though, these cubes are big so plan accordingly with punch cups vs. other glassware. BTW, the punch was a hit and was one of the two recipes they asked for as they left the party. In case you're interested.... 64 oz. Hawaiian Punch, 64 oz. pineapple juice, 4 c. vodka (or rum, or other alcohol of choice), and 4 c. ginger ale. ---- I froze two ice trays of Hawaiian Punch/pineapple juice mixture, 2 cups each per ice tray. Put the frozen cubes in the bottom of the punch bowl and pour the rest of the ingredients over them. Stir.

Great size but difficult to remove food
I use these trays to freeze baby food puree. First off, the cubes are larger than 2 ounces, and are slightly closer to 3 if you fill them all the way. I don't have a problem with that, it's just something to be aware of. My biggest problem with these trays is the food is extremely difficult to remove. Since they're flimsy, you can't hang on to the edges and bend them back and forth as you would a regular plastic ice tray. My husand has to assist me and usually can pry 1 to 2 cubes out, then the rest are much easier because I can bend the silicone how I need to to remove the rest. The reason this still gets 4 stars is because these are incredibly easy to clean! Also, I can freeze twice as much food at one time and I don't need as many trays, which has saved time and space. Overall this is a good product, I just wish it were easier to remove the food from it. I have not used other silicone food trays and have no comparison to make, however, if the trays had cube dividers that were detached all the way to the top, it would be much easier to use. This tray has the cube dividers only on the inside, and the trays are not split on the outside.

bigger cubes, slower melt
This makes lovely big cubes. one cube in a drink is enough.

Cubes are a great size for pitchers of iced tea--chills freshly brewed tea quickly, slow to melt and less dilution..
I like this set of ice cube trays--the design is more compact than in some similar products so they are easier to handle without spilling water and they take up less room, but still end up with 8 very large cubes/tray. Once frozen, the ice cubes pop out easily without all of the twisting and running under water to loosen them up. I also think the price is great considering I received two trays for the same price as I had previously paid for just one... I initially thought one of these ice cube trays would be enough, but I ended up using these large cubes much more often than I expected, so I was quite happy to find this set. The ice cubes are really too big for most of my beverage glasses, but they do work great for the pitchers of iced tea and/or lemonade I make almost every day, and they fit perfectly in the water bottle my grand-daughter takes to school. The trays feel sturdy and well made, and seem as if they will last a long time.

Works great, but see edit. :)
Works great as of now (September 2015). Have been using them approx once per week for the last six months. They seem to be holding up okay, but we shall see if they hold up for years like plastic ones. EDIT FIVE YEARS LATER: They still work great. Zero damage to the trays after more than five years. I've developed a touch of hand strength problems the past couple of years. Why do I mention this? The ice isn't easy to remove like plastic trays. At the same time approx. (4/2016 vs 3/2016) I also purchased a different set of icecube trays that is much easier to remove the ice from. The other trays only hold six cubes and are approx $5 per tray vs the $6 per tray that hold eight cubes. Of course, prices change, so check the prices before you buy! Here is the link to the other trays: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00395I60E/ Both of the trays work great. The other trays are only mentioned because the cubes are substantially easier to remove.

Wonderful, large ice cubes!
Ooh, these are fun and they really do last longer when larger like this! Just be aware that you need to make sure your glass is wide enough to accept these. NOTE: Minerals from water, especially with hard water, will leave the whitish film a couple of people wrote about. It has absolutely nothing to do with the material of these ice cube trays. Nothing. The solids left in your glass from the melting cubes is the same thing: minerals/solids from water, even filtered water. When we first moved to where we live now, I freaked out the first time I saw what was left in my glass - cloudy globs floating around - ew. That was with regular old hard plastic ice cube trays. Water is water, what you find in your glass has NOTHING to do with silicone ice cube trays. I will say that you may be seeing more of the water solids in your glass because they don't cling as much to the silicone trays as they do to the hard plastic trays. We get quite a hard water build-up in our ice cube trays and coffee makers and pots.

Perfect for cocktails or scotch sipping
Bought these to make giant ice cubes for sipping whiskey/scotch. I fill them up and wrap the entire box with saran wrap so they don't get that weird freezer scent. Popping out the first one is a big tricky, but after that the flexibility of the silicone makes it easy. The ice cubes last a long time in a lowball glass with a shot or two of scotch. I've also used them in cocktails and they dilute at just the right rate, keeping everything cool and refreshing.

Large cubes
I love these ice cute trays. Cubes are large and keeps your drinks colder longer. One of them the corner cup gave way after a year. Still happy with the product and would definitely order again.

Jumbo Silicone... Ice Trays!
These ice trays are everything I wanted them to be. They consistently make very nice 2-inch ice cubes, which are excellent for making a great cocktail. Whether you use them for shaking or stirring a drink, they hold up well and take longer to melt than standard cubes. Another reviewer mentioned how the individual dividers are level with the outside edge of the tray, making it hard to fill. While that's a fair point, you wouldn't be able to make ice in the perfect cube shape if there was a chance for an excess layer of ice to form over all of the cubes. When trying to remove a cube, the top layer would crack, which could ruin the appearance of the ice. While some people may think that isn't important, they probably aren't the same people who are buying ice cube trays on the Internet. Other reviews mention that it's hard to remove the cubes. I find that if you hold the tray upside down and push the cube out with your thumbs, it's very easy. If you're having trouble, just set the tray on the counter for about 20 seconds and they'll melt enough to pop out easy. The size of the cubes are perfect for a rocks glass and you'll only need one cube to make and drink an Old Fashioned. Whenever I make someone a drink using this ice, they almost always comment on the size of the cube and ask where I got them. People love the giant cubes, man; I'm telling you.

Good solid ice cube tray
We have small, medium, & now we have these large size ice cube trays. Great size for glasses & large mouthed water bottles. They take awhile to freeze, of course, & would have preferred them to come with a lid. But not a deal breaker. Soon after they’re frozen we put them into a large freezer bag. Going through a lot of ice cubes this hot summer!! ????

Big ice cubes that will outlast your drink!
Works exactly as it should. Dishwasher-safe. These big cubes are wonderful. You'll only need one, and most of the time, will have to toss the the cube into the sink because it will outlast your beverage. There seem to be a *lot* of poorly-made knock-offs on this site. I dug through lots of reviews before settling on this one, and I'm happy with it. Some people have commented that the cubes are difficult to get out of the tray. That's true until you get the hang of it, but it's not a real issue.

Great Ice Cube Tray
Very nice ice cube tray. They come out of the mold without any problems and are the perfect size for your drinks. The ice cubes last a long time keeping everything cool and refreshing. Far better than having to stuff a glass full of smaller ice cubes!
