Replacement valve

This film was very difficult to find locally, and when I found it was very expensive about four times as much as I paid for on Amazon. Installed it replacement was perfect. Price was perfect. Saved on gas and also recommend Amazon for your brewing needs.

Bought this to add to an existing system using a "Y" splitter for two taps / one Co2 bottle. Problem is the opening or orifice in this particular ball valve is really small. Much smaller than the other one we have. So, the pressure is different at the kegs. Wish they'd mention this in their specs...

Built well but don't recommend for purposes unrelated to carbonation as it will not make a good drain valve.

I bought this and a 1/4 NPT tap so I could use this as a drain valve for an oil catch can. Mine does not have any marks from tightening, nor any leaks. I would not recommend this product if your intended use is to use as a drain valve for liquids as it has a ~ 1/16" restriction that will need to be drilled out. That said, this product appears to be advertised/sold for a specific use with CO2 carbonation so I cannot take away a star since that may very well be a desired quality when used for that purpose.

Solid, tight seal

Used with CO2 system for home seltzer making. With a bit of PTFE tape on the threads there's not a whisper of gas when this valve is in the closed position with 40 PSI.

Leaking problem

From my other reviews, you will see that I bought this along with a Kegco splitter. I cannot get them to seal, and I am not sure if it is the ball valve or the splitter, so I cannot give this a good review. I really believe it is the splitter causing the leak. This very well could be a servicable part, but I don't know because of my leaking problems.

Funcionalidad del producto

La pieza o más bien piezas están muy bien diseñadas, por mi parte no tuve ningún inconveniente, al momento de separarlos y utilizarlos en líquidos y CO2 funcionaron muy bien, al momento de lavarlos y desinfectarlos no se noto desgaste,el único ligero y pequeño inconveniente es el plástico de llave se llega levantar por la parte inferior. Sin embargo en cuanto a funcionalidad es muy buena.
