Best product for stemless glasses and cold drinks!
These came in very handy for my party where I was serving drinks in stemless glasses. I made sure to advise my guests to wet the character first (they actually took a little dunk in a nearby dish of water) and they stayed on the glass all night. In fact, it was kind of difficult to take them off at the end of the evening - thankfully I have fingernails to get in there to break the seal. They were super cute and whimsical; exactly what was called for on my Ladies' Night In. My guests were even coming up with names for their little critters. Of course nobody remembers what they were, so we get to rename them again next time we use them. This is a much better product than the glass pens (where you write the person's name on the glass), as the writing tends to wear off on the guest's hand toward the end of the night - and if the drink is cold (i.e. condensation is happening), the writing will not stay on at all. Bottom line, the product works well as long as they are pre-moistened (it's just simple physics folks), and they are high quality. The packaging was nice, so it could also be used as a cute hostess gift. Cheers!

They're pretty cute
I scanned the reviews before buying and saw a number of people complaining about the suction power. I haven't had any issues getting them to stick as of yet - all I do is run my finger under the tap and add a drop of water to each suction cup. They stick just fine and they look handsome doing it.

Great gift! But they can jump right off your glass.
Very cute glass markers, they're perfect for when I'm having more formal get togethers with friends! We all have different wine favorites, so it's cool that they each can pick their favorite wine to mark their glass! The only thing is that some of them don't seem to want to stick to the glass long-term, especially with curved/rounded glass (which is basically all wine glasses). It pops off after about 5-10 minutes. Otherwise - they're the perfect gift for your wine-loving friends!

Great product idea! I have seen other suction-type wine glass markers, but these are definitely the cutest ones out there. The suction looks like a real wax mark when it is on the glass. All my guests love it and comment on how cute they are and what a great idea. They go on easily and come off very easily. Although it says they are dishwasher safe, I don't think I'd risk it because they are so small they could fall and end up in the bottom of the dishwasher (and melt). My guests liked them so much, when I saw them at a local discount chain store (for about half the price) I bought several more to give out as gifts. Everyone that received them LOVED them. The Amazon price was still good for the quality and the product overall, I just happened to find for less at a store.

Great, but not really for kids
Like another reviewer posted, people need to read the directions. One of the biggest issues is that they fall off. It will not fall off if you moisten the suction cups. Problem solved. I got this for the kids in our family to use to keep track of the cups everyone is using. It was a major fail. I don't recommend this if you're trying to find a solution for kids. Initially they get excited about the fun little markers, but the excitement wears off and no one cares anymore. Been finding them randomly under the couch or table. However, for a party and for adults, these would work great.

They do stick
After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant on buying this because some had said they fall off after a while. The trick is to clean the little suction cup with isopropyl alcohol and it will work like a "charm". Mine lasted for over 24 hours. I then removed them for long-term storage.

Not All Sticks For Long!
I was really excited for them until we had a full house and used all 8. Some stuck to the glass all night without falling off. But some fell off about every 10 minutes. Having carefully examined the good ones against the defective ones, I think the point of failure is in the suckers being slightly out of shape in the defective ones. Over a short period of 10 minutes, they fall off and fail to accomplish their purpose...

Cute, entertaining, but not without some faults
So I read all the reviews about these things on the amazon.ca and .com and noticed the wide range of reviews: people either really liked them since they're different, or really hated them because they didn't stick to a glass for a very long period of time. I figured for the price, it wouldn't be that big of a loss if these things failed since I needed something to identify glasses at a party. So I tried my own, unscientific test: measured the amount of time each of these characters survived on a variety of glass types after wetting them under the tap, and the results are below: Sneaky Wine Glass 4 hours 19 mins Deep Wine Glass 3 hours 45 mins Curious Wine Glass 3 hours 57 mins Macho Wine Glass 6 hours 17 mins Naughty Beer Glass 8 hours 33 mins Veggie Beer Glass 4 hours 1 mins Honest Beer Glass 11 hours 41 mins Cuddly Beer Glass 5 hours 53 mins Devilish Rocks Glass 4 hours 27 mins Cool Rocks Glass 10 hours 26 mins Jolly Rocks Glass 4 hours 40 mins Mysterious Rocks Glass 6 hours 45 mins So from my own tests, I would say they VacuVin glass markers will last about 5 hours on average, which is respectable. The timing is +/- 5 mins, since I didn't sit there all day watching these things. For those that stated they didn't last very long, perhaps you had a bad batch? The only reason why these things fall off is due to them losing moisture because of a poor seal on some sections of the suction circumference. I would notice on the backside of glass, that there are some fine gaps which would show an incomplete seal. I guess manufacturing these things must be difficult due to their small size. I'm trying another round of tests, but using very very small amounts of vegetable oil from a bottle opening, and just so every lightly touching the suction cups to it. So far, it appears to give the the little suction cups a better/full seal. I'll report back with more.

Cute but useless
These are cute and the idea is solid. Their only downfall is that they don't stick to the glass for very long and inevitably end up under the sofa.
