Good quality cards, covers the basics; generally it's great teaching aid or for personal use.

Good base line product to include in your survival kit for personal use as well as a teaching aid. Clear instructions and information. I actually purchased the UST Live and Learn Outdoor Skills Card Set and the ESEE Pocket Navigation/Survival Cards with Rite in Rain Notebook after a discussion at my town job regarding survival if things suddenly go south, where one of the girls who works up front asked me how exactly I intend on making sure we make it home safe (She lives roughly 16 miles from where I do and is on my way home. I live 25 miles from my town job and she lives roughly 9-10 miles from the workplace.) and what is anyone supposed to do if I am injured (This coming up after her telling her boyfriend that she fully expects him to get himself killed in the first 5 minutes of anything that happens). I have been using this combination to teach basic survival skills and the need for general survival training (first aid focusing on gunshot and stab wound treatment as well as broken bones, dislocations and other more common injuries and the dangers posed by infection, finding and purifying water, survival hunting and fishing, knot tying etc...) and preparation as well as basic orienteering as it is likely in such a case road travel will be at a stand still leaving overland travel as the only viable option.

Great for the Beginner or young novice

Let me start off by saying that I really enjoyed giving these as a gift to my 10yr old stepson as a gift. These cards have good information on some basics on auto oval in the wild. Great primer for any budding adventurer and someone who benefits from having this information at hand.

Wasn’t in the best condition

While I loved the container they come in and the size that makes it easy to put in your pack, I was disappointed with the condition of the cards. The first aid set had its clear coating peeling off of the back card and some of the card had peeled up with it. It looked like it had been used or at least damaged before shipment. Two of the card sets can’t be used with out damaging the cards due to the tightness of the fastener. They should slide, instead you have to send it back or bend them. Lastly, many of the cards are helpful and informative, but there are certain cards that make you wonder how it is supposed to help. For example, I am placing these cards in my child’s survival pack. She may not know how to treat shock or what it is. So on the shock card in the first aid card set, I was disappointed to see only the symptoms of shock, not what it is or how to treat it.

The good, the bad and the awful

The Good: I think that anyone who has ever been outdoors and spent any time in the woods will be familiar with everything on these cards as common sense. For anyone never having been in the woods, never opened a Youtube video, or read a cub scout book would be ok following these card guides. The Bad: These cards are flimsy and get wet pretty easy. I get that they come in a waterproof container, but there is such a thing as rain and it always seems to be coming down when you need to make survival happen. The Ugly: Text is great on the back, but images cross language barriers. It would be far better to include a magnifying glass and put some small images on back SHOWING what to do maybe with a couple words as transitions. Overall I would say if you have a laminator and a printer you would be better served making your own.

Great way to travel safely

These cards appear sturdy and the case makes them even better. My son always depends on his phone but when that goes out, we know at least he has these cards to refer to. Small enough to carry easily but legible and easy to understand directions.

Missing card packs

This was supposed to include Knot Tying, Way Finding, Survival Fishing, Fire Building, First Aid and Shelter Building Cards; however, it only had Knot Tying, Way Finding, and Fire Building. Survival Fishing, First Aid and Shelter Building cards were missing.

Information is useful for USA. Poor value for money

Most information is relevant to USA such as tracking etc. Box is sturdy and useful for other things as well. Poor value for money

Multi pack, missing card and USA specific information

Decent enough cards but a couple of major issues. 1. A lot of the information is specific to USA, so not great considering it is being sold in UK. 2. I was missing the shelter cards and got two way finding sets instead. 3. Cards are held together with a very tight punch which is difficult to move in order to read the cards, which is annoying since the cards have a title on one side and information on the other. Overall, a good idea in handy form factor but not executed well.

L annonce la description ne correspond pas au images du tout j'ai un lot de trois au lieu du 6 tel sur les images et en plus dans les premiers commentaires plusieurs ont reçu le 6 et Amazon la fille me répondit que tout est conforme ils ont ok avec ça et quand tu demande pour parler avec un superviseur à refusé de transférer disant que elle est responsable de son appel j ai juste a rappeler c tout wow beau service vraiment décevant.
