Clip breaks
Clip breaks! I read other reviews like this, so I was trying to be careful when I would set down mask on snorkel boat. Well the clip broke the first day of my trip. Dry snorkel: works excellent. They sent me one that goes on the left side of mask Mask: Fits good. Skirt below nose starts to hurt if mask is on too tight. Mask says tempered, but I think the lenses are plastic, this was per my guide, he said they were not made of glass. Fins: Not bad, not good. I can see if you use for an hour or less is fine, but after that they aren't that comfortable. I bought water socks and they work well for this problem. Travel: Loved how compact the set was with a travel bag. Since the fins are short for travel you do have to do a little more work to keep up with others who have longer fins. Contact: Would rate one star. No one to contact to get a replacement piece on this website.

A good set for the money
This is actually a pretty good set for the money. If you just want your own for casual use or a tropical vacation, this is a nice set of gear. Bag: The set comes with a surprisingly nice bag that easily holds everything and would probably have room for a small towel. There are large mesh areas to let your stuff dry and a nice strap. We actually managed to squeeze both of our sets into one bag for going through the airports. Mask: The mask is nice, offers good visibility, and actually fits a pretty broad range of faces quite well. The strap is very easy to adjust. Snorkel: As others have said, the clip on the snorkel is garbage. It is just a cheap piece of plastic that will break very easily. Both of ours broke the first time we used them, and I was trying to be careful as I expected them to break from other reviews I read. The snorkel itself on the other hand is great! It really does a great job keeping the water out, and purging any that may get in is very easy. After using a normal snorkel and then a dry one, I don't know that I could go back. It makes the experience that much better. Fins: These fins are not going to propel you through the water as fast as longer ones, but the shorter length makes them much easier for travel. Just be careful about the clip on the side for the strap; these can come loose and fall off in the water before you even realize it. We lost one this way, rendering that fin useless because there was no way to strap it on anymore. Conclusion: Is this the best set out there? No. Is there room for some improvement? Yes. Would i but it again if i needed another set? Definitely.

OK snorkel set. Snorkel-to-Mask clip is a joke.
Overall, the set is pretty good. We purchased two sets, one for me and one for my wife. FINS. I purchased the LARGE to fit a 10-13 men's shoe. The size runs small. I have a narrow size 12 foot and wore a thin fin sock, and adjusted as large as the fins could go, they were marginally sized OK. My wife, who wears a women's size 8 shoe, purchased the MEDIUM that is supposed to fit women's 8.5 to 11 and she had no problem with fit. The fins are definitely short, but the fin length was adequate and the short length does not tend to cause one's legs to cramp after an extended snorkeling session. Having open heeled fins like these is a must for snorkeling. Wear fin socks to be able to walk across the rocks and coral into the water, then slip on the fins when it is deep enough to swim. MASK. Both of our masks fit OK. Don't forget to pick up some anti-fog. With fresh anti-fog, the lenses stayed clear. A neoprene mask strap to cover the rubber mask strap is also a recommended purchase to helps avoid pulling longer hair when removing your mask.. SNORKEL. The clip to attach the snorkel is worse than PATHETIC. One our clips broke before we got into the water. The other lasted maybe 2 minutes. The clips are a very weak, brittle plastic that should be a huge embarrassment to US Diver. We picked up some cheap cloth covered elastic "pony tail holders" from Wal-Mart and they worked much better for attaching the snorkel to the mask. The snorkel itself functioned OK. GEAR BAG. The bag is nice. The snorkel set packs up into a nice, neat package that does not take up much room in a suitcase.

Very happy with product
Great product, i'm a male size 13 and bought the XL black set and love them. This is my first time looking for something like this so i was completely lost as to what to buy. Based on the reviews i went with this model and i'm glad i did. Great, solid construction. Durable straps. easy to get on and off with pull straps on the flippers that make it a snap to tighten. The flippers are short and very effective and one thing i really like is both of my daughters are also able to wear the entire kit and they are womens size 6 and 7, just tighten the strap and it works great for them to play around in. The snorkle works exactly as advertised, when you go under water it seals itself off automatically and no water gets into the tube, when you surface a very mild exhale through the snorkle clears any tiny bits of water that may have gotten in and you are ready to go. the travel bag is solid with a decent zipper and handle. Goggles are GREAT, super clear, you may want to purchase some of the anti-fog spray tho, mine fog up pretty quickly sometimes. i've taken them down to our pool and the kids pass the kit around and have a great time, i've also gone up to the lake and snorkled around and had a great time. The only warning i would say is, if you have a mustache than be prepared to shave it off or trim it down towards the lip a bit to get a good seal on the bottom of the goggles. Updated 12/24/2012: Well i used it the whole season. used it in the pool a couple dozen times. Went to the lake several times. No issues whats so every except for the seal just below the nose, if i am not careful then it will leak a tiny bit. Other than that its held up great and i can't wait to use it next summer! =]

Not US Divers
I purchased the yellow version of these and by the picture it was supposed to be US Divers but when I received it it had the Aqua Lung logo on it... maybe its all manufactured by the same company, but the US Divers logo would have been much cooler. Performance wise i have used a few times and everything works fine.
