Bombproof quality and durability

These shorts are impressive. The build quality is off the charts. I didn't get the right size, but it's still evident this is a SERIOUS pair of workout shorts. The liner is a superior cut and provides great support and containment. I prefer a (properly built) lined short in almost every active scenario. I even prefer them to sleep in. If you're size 38-40, you're going to need the XL size. Trust me on this. That waistband could double as a tow strap once you hit the top end of the range. If I had to give a critique, I believe the exterior short needs more flexibility. While the cut allows it to move, I'd just prefer additional forgiveness to make it an ultimate level pick. A serious contender for "best on the market"... wish I had gotten the correct size before they sold-out. These are good-to-go.

Great for workouts

I ordered these for my husband and he says they are very comfortable. He is 220 lbs and 5’10” and the XL fits him perfectly. I have washed and dried them several times and have had no issues with them. They are great for working out or just lounging around and he is very happy with these.

Fantastic construction, but an outlandish price

These shorts are very, very well made. Every part of them is great to feel or wear, except one. The outer shell is definitely noisy with every movement, and can be annoying. To its credit, it has a very nicely placed cell phone pocket with a zipper. The zipper feels great opening and closing, and your phone is completely out of the way. The shorts have well placed and shaped pockets besides the cell phone pocket. Beyond that, there's a compression layer which also feels quite good and doesn't move around. Frankly, I can get over the annoying swish swish of the shorts. I can't, however, get over the price. I'd say if they're on sale, definitely pick them up. Everything from the drawstring to the waistband to the compression layer to the aglets on the drawstrings feels premium. I'm just not sure I can justify another pair without a coupon or a sale.

Love it

these athletic performace shorts are really nice and really nice material. they are literally exactly like the photo which is nice. they do run a tad bit small. they go up to my husbands stomach but they are a tighter fit and hes usually a true xl.

Fits well

My husband likes these workout shorts. They have the shorts liner inside. The black camo pattern looks nice too. They are very comfy for workouts. I would buy them again.

Excellent Workout Shorts

These shorts are more expensive than what I would normally spend on athletic shorts, but there are some really nice features that might justify the cost. There is a compression liner in the shorts to provide you extra support. As I was sweating on a workout, I appreciated that the liner was wicking away the sweat and made me feel comfortable during the workout. The craftmanship is excellent. Some might find the polyester blend a little plastic-like and makes a bit of an odd noise as the legs rub together. If that might be you, then cotton shorts are always nice. But for me, I like the material very much and appreciated all the features for it.

So Comfortable

Very nice, good quality pair of workout shorts. They have normal pockets and a zippered pocket as well to secure items if you're getting a bit more extreme with your workout. These would be great for anything from a couple hours at the gym to a mud run. My only issue is that the fabric is a bit noisy, but hope that subsides as they go through the laundry a couple of times. You can't go wrong with TYR.

Wonderful Shorts

These are kickass shorts. They are super high-quality, and I love the compression short liner on the inside to keep my thighs from rubbing when I exercise which is clearly a problem for bigger guys like me. I really love these suckers!
