Sisel Rope--Best Cat Scratcher Around

I used the sisel rope to make my Cats cat scratching posts. They love it. The sisel has held up beautifully. There is just one thing I wish I would have done differently and that would be to have done this a year ago, before my sofa and kitchen chairs were destroyed. Hey, live and learn!

Time consuming for multifunction cat posts

Overall product was what I anticipated. Our cats shredded their precious rope over the last 5 years as you can see in the picture. I was hoping for a quick wrap and glue project, however, we quickly learned this would not be the case for our tree. The tunnel is attached to the post needing to be wrapped. We ended up needing to wrap from both the top and bottom until we could not longer wrap from the tunnel. We then ended up cutting strips to fill in the last area that could not do a full wrap around. We only used a hot glue gun and it seems very secure. Our cats will be the true test. Will update post if product does not hold up as we think it should.

Works as intended!

I purchased this to revamp my cats’s cat tree and it came out great! It’s nice and sturdy so hopefully they don’t tear it up as quickly lol

Works well

No smell so cat approved. Easy to install and it stays on well with glue gun. Cat used it often and no mess and it stays put. Would recommend.

Great for cat tree

I used it to redo my cat tree scratching post. I had to be careful what I purchased for the tree because the first time I ordered some it was coated with some kind of oil so I purchased this item and worked great.

Great for cat scratching post!

No smell! I originally bought another rope that advertised no smell and that was incorrect. I had hoped it would fade but ended up replacing it with this one. It’s a bit stiff but used some wood glue to keep it in place. They have used it and the rope is staying intact, not shredding. This roll covered 40” of a 2”x4” . Basically the length of the right side of the cat post. I did some patchwork repairs but it would have covered that area. It looks good and I thinK it will last me awhile. It is well used by 3 cats.

Great for cat scratch house or stand

I have redone the cisal cat scratch house that I have multiple times with this type of rope and seems to last much longer then the stuff it came with, this rope is a bigger more sturdier rope than most of the rope that comes stock.
