Works for sleep, but...
I broke my fibula near my ankle. I no long need to sleep in the big walking boot but needed something to keep my ankle more stable at night. This brace works for that but I never would be able to wear it with a shoe. It adds a good inch to the width of my ankle and 2 inches to my calf. The air part is very inflated when you put it and not adjustable. The Velcro closures just fit and if I hadn't loss some muscle from the boot it would have not worked.

Good for icing but hard to wear with shoes
This is a good product for icing a sore ankle. The removable gel packs can be frozen and used for icing. However, these packs are pretty bulky, so the only way to use this with shoes is to take the gel packs out and have the hard plastic (and velcro) against the ankle. Not very comfortable unless you put on a couple of pairs of bulky socks. From pictures of other versions of this product, it looks like they have air bladders/gel packs that are thin enough to wear with shoes.

Support
This product is good quality for the amount of money you pay. Provides immediate care of acute injuries of the ankle. I work as an athletic trainer at a high school and all the athletes say it provides good support. They especially like how the gel pads can used as ice packs to help reduce pain.

Do not buy
Sits too far back on foot to give support. I have average sized calves and Velcro hardly reaches all the way around, can't imagine what it's gonna be like over pants (too bulky to fit under pants). "Gel" is just air bubbles that are huge and hard to fit around ankle. Toe can point easier than while wearing ace bandage. Amazon won't let me return. Waste of money

This item sound like it would be a great item, but it did not fit my leg. My legs are not large, but the straps that go around the top of the leg was too short. The gel pad were in the correct place but I could not get it to fit my leg.

Too small
This product was very well built, however, the straps were too short for my leg. I have other products that fit since I have a broken ankle and they fit in that regard.I have large lower leg and it is still swollen. great for someone with small lower legs.

Not really for larger calves.
I have large calves. The straps that go around the calve is just too short. I had to deflate the "gel" bubbles in order to wrap my leg up. (it's just air on the top, and the bottom has a small gel pad, surrounded by an air bubble.)

Not great.
It's sturdier than the one they gave me at the ER that fell apart, but the straps are too short and the air pockets are super over inflated. I have muscular calves, so this thing is super annoying. Oh well, it was cheap.

Provided good support.
A good quality brace which allows ankle flexion and extension whilst supporting the ankle on both the inside and outside. Used primarily to protect a serious sprain and therefore very swollen, defintely offered support without discomfort.Unable to wear with a normal shoe so needed to wear a larger trainer.

not impressed and I am a doctor! bought this for my daughter due to repeated ankle inversion sprains. With padding in it allows too much ankle movement and you can't get a shoe on easily. Without padding better support but velcro attachment for padding uncomfortable. The under foot loop is felt and won't last long

Liked the idea but didn't find it useful. Very difficult to line up on ankle and must depend on what shoes you are wearing. Waste of my money but others may like it better.

Non per attività sportiva
Mi ero illuso potesse essere utile anche per sostenere la caviglia durante l'attività sportiva, come una aircast che avevo acquistato anni fa. Purtroppo non si adatta bene alla caviglia e essendo molto ingombrante alla base, non entra bene nella scarpa. Nulla da dire invece per la terapia del freddo. Inoltre i due laccetti che passano sotto il tallone e tengono insieme i due supporti in plastica sono arrivati già indeboliti.

È un valido tutore per la crioterapia, ma per quanto mi riguarda, non ho potuto usarla fuori casa come tutore post traumatico ( nella descrizione dicevano di sì) in quanto, essendo molto ingombrante non riuscivo ad infilare nessuna calzatura (porto il 37)
