Good choice for gifts.

I bought this as a gift for friends to celebrate their moving to a new house. It looks worth more than the list price. This wine tool kit is a great gift for wine lovers. It includes all you need for wine. It is also great to display in a wine cabinet.

Nice bar tools

Got this for myself as tools to use with bottles of red wine. The red box is a gorgeous presentation, and I like the additional corkscrews for the wine opener tool. The other tools are designed to look a lot fancier than they are, but that's no big deal. We have a lot of not fancy barware that still gets the job done. This would be a fantastic gift for the person in your life who likes wine or champagne. Or you could just have a nice set of wine tools for your own home bar purposes. Either are good choices.

very nice red wooden box, good for gifting

First of all, I would say that the wooden box is really beautiful. I think it is alone worth 10 bucks. The corkscrew appears to be a good quality piece. It also comes with two additional replacement worms. The champagne stopper and wine stopper look fine. But I am a bit disappointed with aerator pourer. The aerator pourer is a plastic piece, and it feels very cheap. I really wish the arating pour spout piece is made from glass instead of plastic. Overall, I think this wine boxed kit is really good for gifting. But if you just want to purchase a corkscrew for your personal use, you might look for some cheaper options to save some money.

Wonderful gift for the wine lover

Update: I have been using this set a lot and even taking it with me in our camper as we travel. The clasp that I was worried about has held up beautifully with no signs of wear, so far. I was super impressed when I first opened this package. The box was protected very nicely. It had styrofoam corner protection along with a covering to protect the box from any damages. The box itself is very pretty. The clasp that keeps the box latched doesn’t feel as if it is of the highest quality but it is certainly sufficient for its purpose. After opening the box I was again impressed with the way all of the parts were snuggly cushioned in the box. The foil opener cut the foil on my bottle of wine with ease. At first I thought it wasn’t cutting and was expecting disappointment but boy was I wrong. The lever corkscrew comes with two additional worms. I took the one that was already inserted out so I could see how easily it would be to change if needed and it was extremely easy. I’m not sure the purpose of the additional worms as I have never had one that has worn out before. Nevertheless, there are two additional worms, all the same size. On my first attempt to uncork my bottle of wine the corkscrew came out of the cork and it failed. I attributed this to my own fault, figuring I had done something incorrectly. My next attempt was a great success although the lever corkscrew didn’t sit squarely on the bottle as I had anticipated. This may be because I am a custom to the one that I have used for years. The aerator fit in the bottle perfectly. I had opened a standard bottle of California wine. When pouring from the aerator I could hear and see the air and bubbles in the aerator as it filled the glass. The stopper that came with the kit also fit in the bottle nicely . The kit comes with a champagne stopper which I may never use as I don’t drink champagne. All and all, I would say that this is a very beautiful set that I would never hesitate to give as a gift. I will probably purchase this set as a wedding gift in the future. As a follow up: I have to say that after using the aerator on both nice bottles of wine and very inexpensive bottles, this is the best aerator I have used. I absolutely love it!

Fancy

This is a super fancy set. If you are trying to impress guests or as a gift this is perfect. Each piece works well and I had no problems with it. But it's just a fancy set of normal needs for wine.

No strain
