Great boonie!!!

The hat is comfortable and does all that it claims it does. This hat was worth every red cent I spent. At first the hat was a little tight at it loosest fitting.This loosened up a little after wearing a few times and getting wet and naturally drying once. Now it fits perfectly like a custom hat. I wear a size 7_1/2 hat size. If your head is a size or two smaller this hat will fit perfect and has a draw string on back to make it fit even better if needed. The multicam color was a perfect match and the material is strong with no fraying on edges. No stray strings and no need to do my typical "scout and burn" all the hairs on arrival technique. It is a very well made hat. The brim is larger than most "bucket" boonies which I like. You can use the chin strap to fold the brim upwards to get it out of the way making like a "safari" type hat. Everything was top notch quality. I would not hesitate to order again and of coarse tell my friends and relatives about my experiences with the product. I Hope this has helped someone on the fence about trying this product. I feel it was well deserved of the 5 stars given...I would have gave more stars if I could . Best Boonie in the market!

Best boonie in the market! Material and color are on point. It's both windproof and waterproof. I'm very picky where I invest my money and it takes me a while to purchase a product due to the research and comparisons that I do. I feel secure in my purchase and just in time for the summer.

Nice wide brim

Nice wide brim! The one sent is an H2O, say it is breathable, so we shall see how it does for everyday wear here in the northern Mojave. Worse case scenario, I can add the breathable mesh vents. I am kinda a resourceful guy.

This is a excellent quality large-brim boonie

This is a excellent quality large-brim boonie. (the larger than normal brim looks a tad bit goofy, but if it's raining or sunny (and want more shade), it's what you want!) Material is very water resistant, fits great as it's adjustable, and the multicam camo is the real deal. I've returned other Tru-Spec hats but not this one. It's a keeper.

A let down...

It is ok. I would have preferred the hat have elastic in the interior to make it fit anyone. Instead, the hat feels too big, and you have to sinch up a string around the headband to tighten it. There is nothing to secure the string, so it just slowly becomes loose again.

These are good H2o boonie hats

These are good H2o boonie hats. I use mine for hunting and fishing. Great concealment while hunting, and sun blocker when fishing. Great rain repellent boonie hat also. Have one in multi-cam and one in digicam. Wear them all the time. Tru-Spec brand value and quality.
