Got this for husband and it's a hit
We are saving so much money on having this and grinding our own meat and stuffing our own sausages. It could be easier to stuff but with two of us working it we do well and it's just so much more flavorful and a little bit makes you so much more full. I have no idea what is different between buying meat and this way in terms of if they use filler or anything but I highly recommend getting this if you are on a paleo or keto diet or if you are just trying to lesson processing of any kind in the foods you eat so you can know what you are putting inside of yourself. Highly recommend. Amazing quality, very solid and peanut oil is what we use to coat and store it and have zero issues with any rusting. Great product that will last a lifetime if you care for it.

Amazing
Okay, so I have to say I was worried when I ordered this product due to the 2 reviews that were posted about this product however I am happy to say I am super pleased that I ordered this meat grinder!!! I have severe allergies and due to this I am not able to eat beef or pork and the extremely high cost of ground poultry facilitated my purchase of the meat grinder. Allow me to say 1.) this product was not made in China 2.) this thing is a beast (in a good way). It is well made, solid, and amazing. I have not used the product yet but look forward to using it this weekend, I will edit my review after I have actually used the grinder however I do plan to run some dried beans through the grinder to remove any metal spurs that are left from the manufacturing and the instructions clearly tell you that as the product is cast iron it requires that you oil it before storage. So I'm sorry I forgot to tell you how well it worked. I ran the dried beans through the grinder, partially froze my chicken and the grinder was amazing!! I made homemade chicken burgers(I cannot have hamburgers, I'm allergic to beef) I have to say they were amazing!! So much tastier than store purchased ground chicken!! We are going to buy a freezer and I'm going to grind in bulk for ground chicken/turkey, plan to also make sausages in bulk!! I am really happy with this product and am really glad I purchased it!!

Geat meet mincer
Great product! Easy to assemble, use and clean. I myself, prefer manual tools, so for me this mincer is perfect. It's kind of on the heavy side, but for its' purpose, I think it is good, as it provides it stability. The only thing I think is necessary, is to dry it good, as it rusts, because it is only covered by aluminum, so don't be leaving it wet, or in a damp surrounding for too long. But it is true to any mincer, so in my opinion it is not a downside, as it always true. Overall - great product!

Heavy but good
Heavier and larger than I expected, but works fine for our needs. Dry it in the oven and put a few drops of oil on it before putting it up to keep it in good shape.

Instructions on Assembly Not Very Clear
The re were 2 different instructions on how to assemble for making sausage. Neither was very clear, neither was correct, and they were different. When using, it did not pack the ground meat real tight without difficulty. But in the end, it came out OK most of the time. The looser sausage was still OK.

Ok Grinder
I live in Hawaii and I bought this for goats and pigs. Doesn’t grind the meat if the trimmings have silver lining or fat. Kind of a pain to use on these particular animal meats. Worked well on beef.

I have mounted on commercial block table
yes these works I am always grinding meat up bc I am butcher and I keep mounted on table for quick use and it is easy to clean and the blades are sharp. if I have 2 lbs of scrap meat or 30 lbs always does the job, not bad price also.

hmmm not really worth the money
The older ones are better the worm was and the outer was machined to fit closely these are just roughcast and tin-coated even the rear where the handle attaches where it goes through the outer shell utilizes nylon bearing the old ones had this area machined. I maul's the meat into submission the old ones used to cut cleanly so good pressure could build up behind the blade

Inneficace!
J'ai acheté ce moulin pour faire du boeuf haché, si les lames sont légèrement serrées par la bague de retenue, du métal se détache et se retrouve dans la viande. Si elle sont légèrement plus espacées alors la viande s'enroule dans le mécanisme et ça bouche! Il faut presser très fort dans l'embouchure du moulin pour que la viande avance et c'est dangereux. Par contre ça fonctionne bien avec le jambon cuit. Verdict: très beau...mais c'est tout!

Nada práctico... No lo recomiendo. Tardas mucho en moler unos trozos dd carne.
