Love it
Had my old suitcase for 20 years. Looked around a lot and wasn't sure, but love it. Great all around. Amazing.

Quality bag
I’m very happy with the quality materials and ingenuity used in making this suitcase. I tried to order the Maxlight 5 but couldn’t get the color I wanted due to product availability. After 20 years of using a Costco special, it finally wore out, so I did a lot of research trying to find something equally as good. Costco didn’t have any roll aboard styles available l, and I didn’t want valuable pack space taken up by wheels with the spinner style. Travelpro met my needs overall and at a price point that was cheaper than others. Just used it on my first trip with several flights. It is east to maneuver in airport parking lots, airport escalators and in narrow isle ways in planes. Likewise, east to fit in the overhead bins on planes. On our return home, we had to check our bags, which involved the bags being handled by baggage people to move it on multiple flights. I was concerned with how it might fare upon pickup at baggage claim. Not a scratch or a mark from that process was present. The two zip pockets on the front are small and good for holding my belt or other small items I need east access to. The larger front pocket was a great place to stow my coat. The top opens up to easily access the inner compartment for maximum cargo room. The inner tie downs are an unexpected benefit. I also find the suit area on the inside of the top isn’t needed. The extra pad for this is easily removable though, which freed up the space for extras. All in all, design ingenuity and quality construction are the key attributes of this carry on bag. I love it.

Very stable. Not top heavy.
A good carry-on bag and it's very stable due to the location of the stabilizing feet. Not top-heavy compared to the Armage II Upright Wheeled Carry On which I also own. Easy to maneuver.

TravelPro Elite—Stuffed to the Max
The TravelPro Elite is just what I expected. It packs easily, holds a ton of clothes and other items, and is maneuverable through airports. The extra space is a plus, as I hate to check bags and can use this one for a two to three week trip. While the two-wheeler is not as easy to move with as a four-wheeler would be, the extra space is worth it.

Meets and exceeds expectations
Excellent piece of luggage. Well built. Great value. Enough room for a week away plus a little leftover for the return trip with the expansion zip. This version does not come with locks if that is something you require but it does have a handy battery pocket and USB cable. I specifically wanted a 2-wheel design as it is easier to maneuver over cobblestones or rough roads. If it’s good enough for the airline staff, it’s definitely good enough for me, and… so far so good.

Sturdy, they really fit overhead bins, and the handles are easy to deploy.
We just took a pair of these bags on a three week trip to England. We had decided to go with only carry-on bags with all the flight cancelations and delays (a good idea), and these bags served beautifully. They are a bit heavier empty than I expected, but that is no doubt due to the very sturdy construction. Getting in and out of Ubers and shuttle buses, pulling bags in and out of rental car trunks, they are easy to maneuver. Great idea having a small handle on the bottom to assist in lifting on and off luggage racks. Importantly, the wheels are replaceable... we had to trash another bag after a wheel jammed and became flat-spotted. A very high quality product...worth the money. Not quite as maneuverable as the four-wheel designs, but as the manufacturer recommends, better if you need to move through an airport quickly.

Color me impressed
My trusty Samsonite carry-on which served me well for about 15 years finally came apart on my last trip and I needed a replacement. As most of my travel is domestic and about a week max, I figured I may as well get a worthy replacement. After reading the positive reviews on this one, I figured I'd take the plunge. When I received the Travelpro, I was initially concerned because this suitcase looked undeniably smaller than the one it was replacing, and from any fair estimation, it was. I figured the true test would be: Does this suitcase hold everything I generally take with me when I travel? So, I packed it with everything I usually take when heading out of town for 4+ days. 3-4 changes of clothing: 2 pairs of shoes, undershirts/wear, 4 t shirts, 2 pairs of jeans/belts, 2 pairs of shorts and a pair of workout pants, a toiletry bag (I know one came with it but so used to bringing my own, why not?) and in the suiter, 3 button down shirts and a pair of dressy pants) Verdict: Surprised, but everything fit in there without an issue and was not bursting at the seams, There was certainly room for a little more at the top of the suitcase, and the front pockets were empty so room there too. Smaller suitcase than it replaced, but fits the same amount of clothing as far as I can tell. I wheeled it around the apt as well just to get a feel for it. Rolls solidly and with purpose and turns without issue. The telescoping arm has 3-4 stopping points and worked smoothly opening and closing. PS, I tried out a suit jacket in the suiter as well (I'm a 42L) . it needed a little playing around to get it to fit and be zipped up/folded in. The suit looked like it would be OK after transport so a consideration for some but not a deal-breaker. Just be aware that if you're looking for a suiter with very generous room for wider shoulders than mine, this might not be it, but again, looks like it should work. All in all, appears to be a worthy replacement. Good show, TravelPro

Durable suitcase with some nice feautures.
The suitcase matched the description perfectly. It’s got quite a few pockets inside and out to keep things flat, or hidden away. The one thing I didn’t, or maybe haven’t gotten used to is the placement of the liquid and gel pocket. If you’re packing a full suitcase it’s a pain to have wrestle it if you’re asked to. Not all airports ask. I’ve only taken a few flights with it so far. It’s a bit on the pricey side (in Canada) but the build quality is good and everything is right where I packed it. The lifetime warranty sold me.

Almost perfect, great warranty
I will fly 200,000 miles this year, so a good carry on is very important. My last luggage was a TravelPro, but not platinum elite. It lasted me about 4 years and was a good weight, size, flexibility and quality balance. I based this purchase on reviews and believing that their higher end line would be superior. The quality seems very good, with a standout exception being the front pocket zippers which are steel - they just seem cheap and less functional than the high quality plastic ones. Otherwise, great storage, quality build, rolls beautifully and I personally love the grey/brown as something different than the standard all black. I like having an expandable bag so that the rare occasion when I need to bring along or home some extra stuff... The option is there. Fingers crossed that the bag lasts at least as long as my last one.

Quality worth the price!
I have only made 3 overseas trips and I do lots of traveling. I will give 5 star after a year. Quality and style is what I was looking for and found it in Travel Pro. Great materials and construction with all the smart design features for the veteran traveler. You won't regret spending the extra for this quality. Yet to see how the warranty works.

Zipper broke on it's very FIRST trip.
So, I travel quite a bit for business and I decided to get a ''top'' carry-on luggage. After reading a lot of reviews I decided to get this carry-on luggage. On my very FIRST trip, the zipper on the front pocket breaks, I tried to open it at the hotel to store things in the front pocket and it just split. I am REALLY not happy with this case. I had $100 carry-on luggage for years and that never happened. I will probably ask for a refund. So NOT recommended as far as I am concerned.
