Very heavy
I have not yet successful used it because it’s quite heavy to pack. I was not anticipating that it would weigh so much to where it would significantly add to the weight of my luggage. I was under the impression it was just straps and not hard heavy plastic.

Over pack
I’m a girl and it’s normal to over pack. BUT this takes my over packing to a whole different level. This past holiday I traveled to Ohio and road tripped to Florida. That meant I needed to pack winter and warm weather. One check in bag wasn’t enough. I was able to pull my 2 check in bags with carryon plus my golf clubs through the airport all on my own. Good little investment.

Really awesome travel accessory - am purchasing a second one for my husband
This thing is awesome! I used it to secure a very stuffed eBags TLS mother lode weekender convertible jr backpack weighing about 25 lbs to the top of my travelpro 21 inch carry on size spinner suitcase. it maneuvered seamlessly through multiple airports and down the airplane aisles. Given the weight on top i did have to hold my backpack a bit to push the suitcase over large bumps/gaps and things that would "shake" the bag on top and cause the bag on top to lean or slide by jostling it - but the bungee held firm and I did not have any issues with the bag sliding or moving when I was wheeling my suitcase across relatively flat surfaces. The bungee material is of a sturdy quality from what I can tell and I did not feel it was pushed beyond its limits at any point. I think the height of your telescoping suitcase handle and the placement of said handle on the top of your suitcase will affect your success especially in considering how big of a bag you can fit on top. If the suitcase handle comes out of the back/edge of the suitcase that is ideal for "surface area" on top on which to rest the bag you are putting on top. Also, you do need a grab handle (or some other attachment point) on that same top suitcase surface to secure the bottom of the bungee. If the bag you want to put on top of your suitcase is taller than the telescoping suitcase handle, I don't think the bungee will work unless you can compress the bag to be shorter - this is due to how the bungee loops over the top of the bag to attach to the telescoping suitcase handle. I honestly don't understand reviewers saying this thing is difficult to use... the video showing you how to attach it is spot on and i was able to clip it on to my suitcase and secure my bag to the top in about 30 seconds. When i needed to take it off due to a forced gate check of my carry on it was off in less than 30 seconds and stuffed in the front pocket of my suitcase. My husband eyed it jealously and I am now purchasing a second one for him.

Gamechanger!!
I am an avid carry-on bag traveler. For my latest trips, I overstuffed my suitcase, backpack, and had three coats/jackets with me. This strap helped secure the backpack that would otherwise topple the soitcase due to its weight, and also secure all three jackets (one of them a winter coat!) to the handle of the suitcase. My brother called it a "seatbelt" for my backpack. Thanks to this, I was able to take the train to and from my destinations with little hastle. Usually, I am fighting with the backpack to try to balance it on top of my suitcase, and have to carry or wear all my jackets separately. This made a huge difference in my travel experience. Walking through train stations, the airport, and to and from my destination was so easy thanks to this. I would highly recommed to anyone who has a bag that does not have a built-in strap for carry on, or that is too heavy to stay balanced.

Easy, one-handed bungee that holds tote on very stable and securel.
I've just returned from a trip and used this for the first time. Although I cannot speak for durability, I will say that this simple bungee was a huge help and very nice addition to my roll-a-board carry on bag. I used to typically balance my tote/handbag on top of the roll-a-board and try to sort of wrap my purse strap around the suitcase handle. Whenever I stopped, I would have to either keep hold of the handles, or switch the purse to my shoulder. I would do so because it wasn't stable to sit on top of the suitcase on its own. For security reasons, even though I would be sitting right next to my suitcase in the gate area, I didn't feel it very safe to just have my purse sitting loosely on top of the suitcase. This bungee attaches very easily with the clip/strap on to the suitcase carry handle. The fact that it stays attached even when you release the other end to remove your tote, means that you don't need two hands to do so. I've seen people use regular bungee cords for this same purpose. Although the end result is similar, when you release the tension to remove the tote, you end up with a loose bungee cord that you need two hands to manage. You may not wish to keep this strap connected to the suitcase when not using, but at least it doesn't fall to the floor when you need to remove your tote. My particular Travelon suitcase happens to have a small zipped pocket at the top front of the suitcase. Handily, I found that I can just unzip this pocket and slip this bungee strap right inside while still keeping the strap clipped to the carry handle. I wouldn't leave it this way if I were to check the suitcase, but for going through security, stowing in the overhead bin, or once in the hotel room, this is handy so I don't misplace the bungee.

Not using it anymore
While searching for a better option; I realized how many people rated this so high. I bought this 5 years ago and it has gone on at least 5 oversess trips with me. Not as useful as I'd hoped. Half the time it's not worth the setup time. Most of the time I kept dropping my strapped bag in the airport mad dashes. Only works on long handled suitcase as others have mentioned. The part that goes over handle slips off too easy. I even packed long twist ties so I could secure the end over the handle all the way back to the suitcase handle. Good for keeping suitcase and bag together for storage or for transport where I could reinforce a knot or twist tie that would not make it easy to come apart. Not good for easy access airport walking.

A little hard to get into place but ok
A little hard to get used to using. Slide is a bit tight and takes getting used to but good and sturdy.

Disappointed ☹️
I thought this brand was good but quality control is obviously missing. I like the concept of this so I will have to get needle and thread out since going on hols in couple of days.

not bad but the tightening cord tends to loosen
not bad but the tightening cord tends to loosen with vibration. OK for short journeys indoors - i.e airports etc, but not good if you need to pull your suitcase through city streets and on public transport

Excellent quality
I bought two kinds of these straps for my recent travel and this one was by far the better of the two. It is extremely easy to place and remove and reapply so my bags don’t go flying as I’m boarding the plane and running through the airports and hotels. 100% recommend this product for travel

Great product
This is my first time getting a bungee. It does what it’s supposed to do, but I have some remarks nonetheless: 1. The bungee doesn’t handle the uneven distribution of weight very well. Something to keep in mind when packing your top bag. The bungee slips and slips until the bag falls right out. 2. Undoing the bungee can be a bit of an inconvenience when you’re ready to separate bags. I ended up leaving the bungee on my rolling carry-on. 3. You can’t access the items in your top bag without undoing the bungee.
