Attractive, heavy, fits the bill.
This my second purchase of this base. It is really nice. This one was missing piece "E," which my husband said was probably a locking washer, but fortunately he had one that fit.

It's metal and well constructed.
This is so much better than the cheap plastic versions that you fill up with water or sand. Price is fair considering delivery. It comes painted to protect the metal, but I gave it another coat with Rustoleum to prevent any rust.

Missing Part
Nice stand, but I bought it through Amazon Warehouse and it arrived with the base only, not the pole insert and hardware. And the box has a sticker saying “Amazon Watehouse Deals Inspected!” ???????? So now I decide whether to “engineer” something or send it back. So disappointed.

Love this
Love this stand it's low profile so your deck chairs can still go under the table and it's super sturdy so you don't have to worry about it breaking. It's heavy so it's a little difficult to move around but honestly, isn't that the point?? If I had more than one table outside I'd buy this again!

Works pretty well for 9 ft umbrella that is used with small table. Color is okay

Somewhat disappointed
This umbrella stand looks great and is nice and sturdy. Only problem was that the nut for the screw in umbrella clamp had crossed threads. I’m going to have to use a tap to cut new ones.

Rusts quickly.
I wanted to find a solid, all metal classic umbrella stand for a reasonable price, so I suppose this one suffices. However, as other reviewers have pointed out, it will start to rust after just a couple of rain storms so I recommend getting some spray paint to protect it (in other words, don't fall in love with this patina). The adjustable insert for the umbrella is plastic and who knows how long that will last? Overall, it has an expansive base and my umbrella hasn't fallen over in medium winds yet.

Poor quality screw for tightening umbrella on place
Plastic screw head, to tighten umbrella in place, stripped the first time we put the umbrella in place. Now we can't unscrew it. Without a vise grip plier.
