Nice halter but too big

It’s a decent leather halter but it’s large enough to fit on my adult mare. It’s definitely not sized for a yearling.

Minimal pull and the metal shattered!

I purchased this less than 2 months ago and today my horse slightly balked at getting in the trailer and the lower metal pieces shattered. Under the chin and across the cheek. Mind you, he barely pulled back, didn’t even make my arms yank. Not happy at all and the window for me to return is closed. So, I had to go out and purchase a nylon halter in a pinch and cannot return, exchange or get a refund of this one. Not happy!! The leather quality seemed very nice and I sort of questioned the buckles From the get go. Just be weary of this halter.

Good halter for the $$

When this first came I was a little disappointed. The leather was stiff and seemed like it was coated with plastic. But decided I would give it a shot since it was a good price. After a couple uses on a sweaty horse it loosened up and now I am pretty pleased with it. Thinking about getting a couple more.

Terrible Halter. Took it out of the bag and ...

Terrible Halter. Took it out of the bag and there was sticky glue all over it. Took me several hours to get it off. The leather straps are also to wide to fit threw the buckles causing the leather to be torn a bit in the process of buckling and unbuckling. Oiled it for hours and its only slightly better. Not worth the money, I would send it back but it cost to much to do that. NOT Worth it

Love the size, love the quality, love it overall. My 15.3h quarterhorse fits in it nicely, the nose band was slightly too big, but that was an easy fix

I didn’t realize the product did up over the head. I’m just not a fan of that style of halter… Also the piece on the back side of the nose is the exact same piece as on the sides… It looks like they were missed made and then just sold anyways

Don’t buy it

I think it has wire in throat latch. I won’t use it on my horse. Very disappointed. I took too long to figure it out. I think it is potentially very dangerous.
