Pretty decent halter BUT do not use rein attachments!

Using with a retired racehorse. Removing the bit removes her automatic race response. The rein attachments are so cheap that the hardware broke on one side (luckily while I was grazing her and not riding her). Just attach a heavy duty expensive rein. The halter is a good alternative to expensive ones if you're going to use lightly. Wouldn't recommend for daily use as a bridle.

Nice but

I purchased this in black and brown. I love my black one but my brown one has stitching on the inside that is rough and irritated my horses head. Unfortunately I didn’t use the brown one until recently and I’m past the return date or I would have returned it.

Super bridle combo for trail riding

I really like this bridle and have recommended it to people at my barn. I have gotten lots of compliments! Or my horse has!

Looks sharp

As other reviewers mentioned, the leather is very stiff right out of the box. It fits my Foxtrotter pretty well. I needed to punch one hole to make the throat latch shorter but every other buckle was sufficiently adjustable. I docked one star because the spring on the clip that attaches the bit to the halter broke the first time I tried to detach it. It's easy enough to replace those clips for a few bucks at the local tack store though and the rest of the design seems very sturdy. Doc approves of his new headgear!

Love this set.

My horse has broken almost all of my bridle sets. This is padded on nose, fits well, and easy to clip bit attachment on/off. I use side d rings on halter to ride bitless.

Very pleased BUT tight fit...

Very pleased. I loved the idea of a synthetic leather that gives the look/feel of the real thing w/0 the required care but I was nervous that such a thing could actually exist. Well it does! I am very pleased, this looks great and appears to be of good quality. HOWEVER for anyone reading this I want to point out that it just BARELY fits my horse (QH type head). It does fit but it is on the last of each notch. I know for a fact it will NOT fit my drafty haflinger (mind you that means he is Still a "pony"....big boned...but a pony breed), it is too sm for him. Hence I docked this product a star.

Great looking, and easy to use Halter/Bridle

I bought this about 2-3 weeks ago and my horse absolutely loves it! The previous bridle set up was rubbing quite a bit on her nose and I have not had the same problem with this one since it has the padded noseband. The option to remove the bit makes saddling her up easier and she also takes the bit really well. I go on long rides with her often and it is nice being able to give her a break from the bit when we stop somewhere for a while without having to change her over to a different halter. I definitely recommend it, the quality is just what I needed!

Sturdy, Real Leather

I bought this for my grandmothers horse, personally I wasn't sure if it was a good bridle, but two seasoned equestrians assured me it was real leather and a quality product. My grandma is using this on her horse right now, it's sturdy and it fits great. Definitely recommend buying this before spending $120+ on a different one.

When I ordered the bitless bridle, I ordered the horse size.

I like the workmanship of the bridle, but, when I measured it, I found it to be for a large horse 1600-1800 lbs. My horse is around 1000 lbs, so this bridle is way to big.

Great quality leather, quarter horse size

Not big enough for anybody over 1300lbs. Normal quarter horse size not big enough to fit warmbloods fantastic quality supple leather

Wish it came with reins. Hard to find a match.
