Excellent Product

I love this mower! I’m so glad I bought it. I got tired of all the fuss and maintenance that goes into using a gas-powered one. IMPORTANT to note that I have a smallish front and back yard, so I can complete each side with the very longest extension cord (sorry, can’t remember the exact length). So definitely assess your needs before buying. This was easy to assemble. Had to experiment a bit on how to place cord when mowing without getting tangled up. I found the best way is to hold the cord to the side, then whip the entire cord to the opposite side when turning. Got the hang of it pretty quickly. Still can’t get over how lightweight it is. Makes mowing a breeze. Reviews mentioned that it doesn’t cut tougher-stalked weeds on one pass - I have a generic grass lawn so I don’t have to deal with that. The side of my house does have some dandelions and nut grass - I do rake that stuff upright first, but I had to do that with the gas mower too. Excellent product - very very happy with it ????

Great Little Mower

It took me over an hour to assemble (and I finally did so by looking at the picture of the assembled machine on Amazon!); the instructions were written by someone for whom English was not their native language, and they were VERY hard to follow. The pix that accompanied the instructions were so tiny and detailed, that they really were of little help, either. BUT, once I got it together and tried it out, I'm sold. It is powerful, cuts nice and clean, is light and easy to push. Simple to empty the grass catcher. My last electric mower was a corded electric Cub Cadet and described as the Humvee of electric mowers (and it lived up to that nickname, as mine lasted 12 years, and it was mowing through a "hayfield" on a bi-weekly basis); it likely would have lasted longer if I didn't hire a teenager to mow my lawn this summer, and he drove it fast and hard and burned out the engine. Since CC no longer makes a corded mower, and since my yard takes at least 2 hours to mow, I needed to find another corded one. I have an Earthwise corded electric trimmer, and I love it--powerful and easy to use. So, I thought I'd try their mower, as well. While it is not solid steel, as the CC was, it is far lighter and easier to push around, as well. AND it cost half what the CC did 12 years ago. I'm sold! My only complaint is that the grass seems to spray out and not go into the catcher very well. I will need to read the directions again to see if I did something wrong in the assembly, but this still would not be a game changer for me. I am still very happy with my purchase, and I'd highly recommend this, especially to a woman who's getting older and having trouble pushing around a heavy old mower and doesn't want the hazard of storing gas in her garage. This is the answer!

Lousy tech support

Height adjustment not working at all. Slipping to lowest height over and over. Tech support was totally not helpful. Made it all about the warranty which I had not even asked about.

Vacuum Cleaner For Your Lawn

Earthwise 13amp with 19" cut is the way to go - the amount of clippings picked up was surprising - easier to push then wrestle with my self-propelled gas counterpart. This is a strong unit that uses all 13amps to get the job down. Have not used a cordless or 10amp corded lawn mower so real comparison - expect 10amp corded is not enough and seems you need a high-end cordless to match all 13amps. Improved cut and pickup from my high-end gas - think vacuuming your lawn. If you want to match gas this is a strong alternative. Good experience with other Earthwise products as well.

Awesome Mowe!!!

As a female Senior Citizen with spinal and knee problems, I find this mower to be just what I needed. It is very easy to maneuver. The only drawback is the width of the mower, which is no fault of the manufacturer. I didn't put as much thought into the cutting width as I did the price which was really affordable. With that being said, I really love the mower!

Good not Great

It's a good mower. I wanted light weight, and it is that. I can pick it up with one hand. Had some difficulty adjusting the height, it was just the opposite of what they said. I had to remove the rubber guard at the back because it kept the wheels from turning properly. Speaking of wheels, it probably would move better with rubber instead of plastic wheels. It has a good amount of power for its size. A good but not a great mower.

great for small yards

I have trouble with heavy machines so I went looking of a small corded mower, this was easy to assemble, and works great. It doesn't handle long wet grass well. I mow several times a week in the growing season without the catcher and every week or so in the summer. The catcher is small, of course, so needs to be emptied often when used, it's best used for mulching.

Returned because I couldn't get the mower deck high enough

I loved this mower - the power is great and it is light weight - just what I wanted. However, I couldn't get the height adjustment high enough for me. At the highest setting, the mower still cut too short and now my grass is burned out. The lowest setting cut the grass almost right at the ground. (I tried that setting to make sure I was doing the adjustment correctly.)
