Nice Cups
So first off, my grandson has been using these Tommy Tippee cups for almost three years. We like them because, for the most part, if he knocks them over in the living room, they won’t create a mess. The price for two is fantastic, but buyer beware: they show the blue and silver cups in the Amazon ad; what I received was a pink cup and a green cup. Not a dealbreaker for me, since the price was good. I would recommend these cups.

Grandbaby loves this straw cup!
Purchased for my 20 month old grandson, who loves being a big boy and using a straw. The only problem, we have experienced, is when you fill the cup and put the lid on, the juice/milk will squirt out the straw. Doesn't matter if straw is open or closed. It still squirts out.

There’s better out there.
I bought a few different kinds of straw sippy cups when my son turned a year old. These were my least favorite of all the ones I tried. Firstly, the removing and re-inserting of the straw before and after cleaning is a pain with this lid; you have to pop off the spout and thread it through, then reattach. I could live with this, but: Secondly, I don’t know why it was designed this way, but the part of the spout that closes sticks out, almost as far as the straw, and there was no good way for my son to drink without that hitting him in the nose. I tried holding it for him slightly tilted to the side, which helped, but if I have to hold his sippy cup every time he drinks, what is the point? Finally, and most importantly/annoyingly, is the leaking. I don’t expect a cup to be 100% leak-proof when knocked over, thrown on the floor, or shaken, but i do expect that when it sits undisturbed on a flat, level surface, that milk not flow continuously out of the straw due to the vacuum pressure. And that’s exactly what happens with these. It’s not just a little bit, like whatever is in the very end of the straw, it just keeps coming. I would recommend Dr. Brown's straw sippy cups over these any day; there is still a little excess milk that can drip out, especially if it’s being frequently open and closed, but it’s pretty minimal. Also, the straws/lids are much easier to clean and reassemble. Oh, and I ordered these in blue, and they sent pink. I asked for an exchange for the correct color, and once again was sent pink. (There were different colors to select, this wasn’t a “multicolor/colors may vary” item.) At that point I just asked for a refund. The cups are awful, and they couldn’t be bothered to send what I ordered.

Great! Keep in mind that they're straw cups, though.
My daughter and I love these cups. She seems to prefer drinking out of a straw as opposed to drinking about of a sippy-esque spout. These are NOT totally spill proof...but that's because they're a straw cup. If the top is open and the straw is out, it's going to leak if knocked over, turned upside down, etc. and will probably leak if an air bubble is caught in the straw, causing it to pour over while sitting straight up if it was just used. That seems to be common sense to me, so I'm not bothered or surprised by that. I haven't seen them leak when the top is closed and the straw is tucked away, even when knocked on the ground or rolling around on the backseat of the car, so to me, that's what makes this cup great. I also love the insulation factor, but it seems to take a lot of room up in the cup, leaving less room inside for actual liquid than I anticipated It still holds 9 oz, but the outside of the cup is deceiving, looking like it will hold more. Regardless, it's lightweight and my 2 year old can easily manage this - I recommend these and will be taking them to Disney with us this summer so my kid isn't drinking boiling hot water. If you're looking for a truly leak proof (and mold proof to boot) cup, look up the Nalgene Triton Grip-n-Gulp. That thing is amazing and super easy to clean.

Upright leak fix, overalls good sturdy product!
Discovered a fix for the “self leaking” issue. So, I saw a lot of complaints about this cup leaking on its own and that it’s difficult to open, but I needed it and ordered it anyways. Tommy Tippee products are oddly enough the only ones my toddler can’t destroy, go figure! Anyways, to fix the leaking by itself and the ease of opening, you must take the closure off the top and squeeze it firmly enough to bend the inside piece that goes across, just behind the hole where the straw goes, into a slight arc (But not too hard, it is plastic after all). I’ve included a picture with arrows pointing to where you need to squeeze it at. It should still feel firm when you close it, and stay closed. Now it won’t build pressure and make a mess for y’all I hope! I found out the closure fits so tightly it doesn’t allow for the pressure and gas to escape after it goes through the valve, and also this is what makes it difficult to open. Hope this helps!!!

First sip was a great latch !
Soon as I opened this out the package , washed it and put some juice in it for my one year old son. He’s VERY PICKY with straw cups so I been using avent right now and he’s great with it. I jus don’t like the leaking from the avent cup. This tommee tippie straw cup was a hit. I gave it to him immediately after the juice to see if he would like the straw and hold it. He had no issues. I let him sit with it by his self for a few seconds viewing it. And he continued to drink the juice. This makes me happy because I hate buying cups for him and he jus twists his face in disgust lol. He doesn’t like long straws at all ; the avent straw cups have the perfect length. Not too long. So this cup always has a good length on it. Munchkin straw cups are good ( in my eyes lol ) but the straws are too long so I cut them so my son can latch easier as he’s used to with the other cups. Trial and error is so true and real with toddlers !

They are good cups. My daughter really likes them but she wanted the girl styled ones. Unfortunately I can't pick so I guess I'll just keep sending them back until they finally send girl designs. It's pretty dumb that you can't pick. Tommee tippee is the only company that does this crap.

Muy buenos, lo único malo es no poder elegir los colores.
El diseño, los materiales y la calidad es excelente y muy bonitos, solo algo que no me agradó es qje no se pueden elegir los colores, pero fuera de eso los vasos son excelentes, pero en general es un buen producto! Le pongo 4 estrellas solo por ese detalle.

Estupendos!
Están hermosos y son perfectos, cuando están cerrados no derraman ni una sola gota, lo malo es cuando está abierto :/ todo el líquido se derrama, este vaso no se lo puedes dejar a un bebé, mi bebé tiene un año y todo lo derrama su se lo dejo, yo la tengo que supervisar. Es como para niños que ya tienen más equilibrio.

Elegí para niña y llegaron rosas, no los que hubiera querido (quería los morados) pero la calidad es muy buena y el precio mejor que comprarlos en otro lado.

Very disappointed. Waited almost a month for it to arrive and it arrived pink when it was advertised blue/red. For my son who loves rockets and the Color blue. He doesn’t want a pink water bottle.
