Exactly what I needed
Purchased a new aftermarket set of wheels for my Audi SQ8, so I needed an extended length 17mm socket as I discovered my existing socket was too short (Audi wheels have little offset so the lugs are ‘deep’ relative to the surface of the rims). This socket for the bill perfectly, and has a nice plastic sleeve to protect the wheels from searching during installation). Overnight delivery was a huge plus as this allows to finish the wheel swap the next day.

Great product except for packaging
Product works great, I’ve owned a few of these in the past. The only thing that aggravated me with this one is that little black plastic tag that sits in the socket. It says to use scissors to cut the tab off so you can pull it out of the socket, however the plastic was so hard that it broke the handle on my kitchen shears from squeezing so hard. Ended up having to use flush cutters and pliers to rip the plastic apart just to get it out of the socket…

PLASTIC INSERT NEEDS TO BE KNOCKED DOWN TO FIT.
I bought this for Some NEW LUG NUTS for my 2022 F-150 that has the ever so Famous Factory LUG NUT'S That are known to SWELL. I purchased the Mc Gard One Piece SOLID Lug Nuts that are 22MM (A TAD bit LARGER) than the Factory Lug Nuts, and this Allows me to NOT NEED AN EXTENSION to Get the Room Needed to R & R the Lug Nuts. "HOWEVER" as stated here by many users, I do not Intend on Using an IMPACT GUN to Remove them nor to Install them DUE to this Unit Being Known to have the WALL of the Socket "CRACK" doing so??? And the small Plastic Insert in the End of this Socket Needs to be Farther Down "INSIDE THE SOCKET" as it does not Allow the Socket to Be far enough down on the LUG NUT'S to Get a GOOD FULL GRIP on them?? Also, noted by a FEW Purchaser's here, Getting the Plastic Hanger Piece out of the End of the Piece is rather difficult due to an Extremely TIGHT FIT, I used a Small Blade Screwdriver to Gently Pry it out of the end to Allow the Extension to be Inserted. (be careful the anodized coating) will chip off real easily. Overall, this should work Nicely for me, I will Use a Different Socket to Break the Lugs Loose and to Re torque them. I will use an Electric Drill to Run them in to Bottom them out (after Starting them By Hand), and then Torque them with a Torque Wrench and the Proper Socket to Factory Specification. Price?? I think it was just "fair" @ $25.00 here on the AMAZON Site.

Perfect for Tesla lug nuts
Can confirm it fits the 21mm Tesla lug nuts perfectly, and the plastic sheath protects the rims. This worked beautifully as i'm now changing over my own rim/tires each winter and spring.

Great solution for truck lug-nuts
Perfect solution for my Tacoma; replaces 21mm socket and 4" extension needed to clear the depth of the factory alloy wheels. Very rigid, used with a 1/2" breaker bar or torque wrench does not flex; so can be used to break-free 90 ft lb lugs and re-torque to spec without the potential flex of an extension + socket. (Compared to the factory wrench, not even close) Not really applicable to me, but nylon edge should mitigate scratching wheels; I guess the anodized inner surface may reduce scratching up the chrome lugs themselves (More important to make sure they are clean before putting a socket on them) Price is reasonable; too bad not Made in America :( Highly recommend; keep this in the car along with a quality 24" or > breaker bar (Tekton (Not Horror Freight) for easy removal of lugs when needed (Again, factory supplied wrench is truly an emergency or secondary back-up "tool" ; not to mention the excessive force required with the OEM's short length and [breakage/slippage] risk.

Wheel Stud Socket Tool
Great socket to prevent wheel rim damage and to leave with torque wrench in vehicle for changing wheels . Very well made, well worth the money.

Keeps the socket away from the rims and the ratchet handle away from your fenders.
Overview In addition to the plastic sleeve that protects the alloy rims...these are long enough that you can ratchet without worrying about the handle scrubbing the wheel wells/fender. It's nice not having to bother with an extension...which really makes the assembly to long to use with ease. These are great. I only use them twice a year (winters on...winters off) so I doubt durability will ever be an issue...and if you are using a torque wrench to make sure you don't over tighten...almost zero chance of them cracking (which has been reported). Note: I use a breaker bar with a separate socket to get the process started...just the first 1/4x turn. Good add to the tool kit Pros -good quality -designed to eliminate damage to the wheels or fenders Cons -None Recommendation – Would buy it again and would highly recommend.

Works fine. Obnoxious packaging
No issues, this is exactly what it looks like. Let's me bolt my tires with enough clearance. My only problem is the packaging this came in. There was a hard plastic hanger that was inserted into the connector end that was difficult to remove. I followed the instructions indicated to cut then pull out but instead the entire handle broke and left the broken plastic piece inside the socket connector. It took me a while with some tweezers to pull it out. Annoying packaging for no reason.

Does the job
A neighbour had a set of these when I was working on getting winter tires on. Purchased this set afterwards as they saved so much time. Helped someone else change a flat tire in no time using these in an impact. Feels like they will last a while, have some weight and durability to them for sure.

Good
It seems good material. Made in Taiwan. Long enough and very good accuracy on dimension attaching impact driver and nut. It will not damage your wheels. I recommend it.
