Good, Big, Reasonably Priced Watch

Very well built, buttons easy to use, display is extremely easy to read. In the accompanying picture you can see the size compared to my Timex Ironman 10 - much bigger display, and the positive display is strongly recommended over the negative display, but be forewarned the case is about the diameter or slightly bigger than an Oreo Mega Stuff. Only hitch is that the Indiglo works differently from on an Ironman - it lights up the actual character elements rather than backlighting the entire display. As a result, it's not really that beneficial other than when it's actually dark where you're trying to look at it, and in fact in normal to bright light conditions it somewhat washes out the characters (making them light blue on a gray background). All in all, solid watch and a great value.

Typically Timex!!

Great watch. The vibrating alarms work. The only watch. I use traveling. The multiple time zones sure helps. Battery easy to change. Clear and good quality. The face is a bit dark but not a problem.

I love this watch, I have bought it twice, its screen is so durable and I thought all of it was but while working in landscaping the buttons stopped working. I had only had my 2nd one for a month before it broke and now have to buy another

Seven Short Weak Vibrations (zz...zz...zz...zz...zz...zz...zz).

The "Vibration Alarm" on Timex Expedition Wrist Watch amounts to seven short weak vibrations (zz...zz...zz...zz...zz...zz...zz). Maybe it'll wake you up...and maybe not. I'm such a light sleeper nowadays that when the tenant upstairs rolls over in bed, it's enough to wake me. To deal with that problem, I bought wax earplugs...which worked great for deadening the upstairs sounds, but all too often, they prevented me from hearing my 4AM alarm clock. To deal with that problem, I first bought a Casio W735H-1AVCF Vibration Alarm Watch...and when that failed to waken me, I turned around and bought this Timex Expedition...which, unfortunately, proved to be just as ineffective. If the vibrations of either watch continued for, say, 30 seconds instead of 7 second, I think they'd have a better shot of achieving the intended purpose. But they don't. I will say that the Timex's vibe is slightly stronger than that of the Casio. I'm sure it'll work just fine if you only need it to remind you of an appointment. Just don't try catching 40 winks before that appointment, or you could be out of luck.

Hard to read

I have had a series of Timex Expedition watches, they have all merited 4 or 5 star reviews. This one works just like my earlier ones, with one difference. The dial is frustratingly hard to read. The contrast between the numbers and the darker dial background is inadequate, you have to move your wrist around to catch just the right reflection to make them out. Even with the light button held on it's hard to read, except under quite dark ambient conditions. Alarms and signals work great, just wish it were easy to read.

Has 3 alarms that Can be Silent (Vibrate Only)

Alarms: This watch is good if you want one with up to 3 silent alarms. That's what makes this watch different from many other watches. The alarm can vibrate and flash only, or have sound. Some watch alarms vibrate but also chime, which may not be good if you don't want to wake up your partner or want a silent alarm for any other reason. Size: It's huge (too big really), so I should have measured how wide it would be on my wrist before ordering. It's about the diameter of a baseball stadium. Ok, that's an exaggeration, but it's extremely big (wide). The strap width is fine. Strap: The strap stays tightly closed. I doubt the strap will accidentally come out of the small sleeve that it goes into after the buckle. This sleeve is called a free loop or free ring in watch jargon. To remove the watch from my wrist, I lift the sleeve over the nub that sticks up from the band. I can't just pull on the strap. Display: It's dim unless I press the button to light up the display, so it's a little hard to read. I have to tilt my arm to the right position. Maybe this helps the battery last longer, but it doesn't seem worth the tradeoff. Waterproof: I've had it for a couple of days and swam with it (sometimes several feet underwater). It is indeed waterproof. Manual: The user's manual has little information. It refers you to the online manual for more information.

Best Vibrating Alarm Watch!

I was looking for a vibrating alarm watch as I no longer wanted to use my phone's alarm. I tried another brand before purchasing this one and let me tell you this one is the best! Vibration is not as soft as the other one I tried, it repeats after 5mins if you do not turn off the alarm (for those of you that like to snooze). 3 different alarms can be set at the same time. Amazing and very easy to set and use! Highly recommend it if you are looking for a vibrating alarm watch.

Great Watch - Vapor in watch after 3 months

This is my go to watch. I have been repurchasing them for year. I used them regularly for day to day time keeping, baking and swimming workouts. My current watch developed water vapor in the crystal after only 3 months. Warrantee is expired. This is disappointing. That said, I am going to order another watch and hope it is more water resistant.

Timed well done

Clear display Vibration Alarm function. Excellent All the functions you need for a real day to day life. Light function is great . Easy to read without being excessively bright 3 Alarms. Light but rugged construction. Last but not least the price is spot on.

Best watch I have owned

I have owned plenty of watches because most don’t last me more than 6 months. I originally was attracted to the watch for the vibrating alarm because I’m an early riser and hate to wake the rest of the house. After several months of abuse the vibration still works great with multiple alarms. As a farmer and welder I have beat this thing up hard. It has been covered in hydraulic fluid and dirt and still works beautifully. Only issue is that the side button for the light fell off one day at work but the light still works so I’m just going to make a new button and bobs your uncle! Thanks timex!

INMENSAMENTE MOLESTO!!!

No me atrevo si quiera a dar una reseña sobre lo que acabo de recibir, el día de hoy a las 9 am, recibí mi producto, el cual venía únicamente empaquetado en una bolsa color beige de hule espuma, dentro venía mi reloj en su caja, la cual era una caja de cartón sumamente dañada y apretada cual si le hubiesen cargado peso encima de esta, abro la caja y venía el reloj, en una hora que debía ser configurada obviamente, pero sorpresa me llevo al querer configurar el reloj y el botón de SET no funciona!! Como configuras un reloj si el botón no funciona, un reloj nuevo... Estoy profundamente decepcionado ya que esperaba con mucha ilusión este, desde ya empiezo mi devolución y dentro de muchas cosas que e comprado en Amazon les recomiendo que relojes no compren

Great watch! Large, easy to read display. Vibration alarm is fantastic.

A larger watch that fits nicely on my wrist. This is my second one (lot the other one at airport security, not sure where it went). The display is easy to read and the vibration alarm works great especially in noisy environments like a helicopter. I pair it with a 20 mm wide chum’s Velcro band for extra stability. Lots of features that can be customized to suit your requirements.

Vibration watch indeed.

This watch has everything you need it to do. Timers, stopwatches 3 alarms and so forth. A couple of extra features I have yet to try out. The vibration is very cool. The first couple of times be warned it will freak you out because this things vibrates, then chimes and wails at you basically to the point you have to shut it off to shut it up. The indigo is perfect. Not to bright for the snipers to spot you yet enough to see that it is time for your late night tea. I needed a watch to help me keep track of a number of things while I was out in the yard. I was on my deck mower and its a loud tractor. This watch lets you know that if you don't pay attention to it when it goes off well you get the point. Worth it and again very cool..
