4th pair, still crappy eyelets tho
This is my 4th or 5th pair. Love they are very light, comfortable and I can get over a year on concrete floors before the inside area heal to arch packs down on a slight angle enough to notice. I then go to my new spare pair and wear the old ones working around the house. Note that tightening laces you cand just yank you need to pull gentle and firmly or the 2 piece lace grommet/ eyelet seperate in some spots. Annoying but does not interfere with shoe function. Never had the lace cut through the leather without the eyelet. The comfort and you can wear them for work on a twelve hour day with the toe protection keeps me buying them.

Timberland PRO Titan 6" Composite Toe Boot
I really, really like these boots. I'm a big guy (6'2, 375), so I'm looking for boots that can support me. These boots feel like I'm walking in my running shoes. They're super comfortable. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because for a 6" boot, they feel almost like an 8" boot; by that I mean that my upper foot, has a LOT of room. I'm used to wearing chukka style boots (Georgia Athens boots)-and they fit my foot like a glove. I just wanted to give these Timberland's a shot and see how I liked them because everybody at my plant wears these or a variant thereof. I really think my fitment issue is that I have tree trunks for calves and skinny ankles and where this boot comes up to is thicker than the ankle. They're really comfortable. Only been in them a week, but they feel great. Time will tell on the durability.

Style meets function
My husband bought these to replace his worn workboots for his job as a technician and trainer for a national satellite installation company. He loves them. He said they took zero time to break-in, and his feet felt amazing in them from day one. Excellent support, don't chafe the ankles, and the darker color stands up to the sun and roof exposure that the lighter suede styles typically fade against. From an outsider looking in persepctive, I think they are definitely fashion forward in the context of purpose and necessity. They look great on him, even with the shorts (haha cankles minimized). The laces are quality materials and can withstand even the grumpiest of monday morning lace ups. We definitely recommend these for someone looking for a good and somewhat stylish workboot.

Good boot, but they don't last
My husband is not easy on work boots. They tend to be scuffed to hell inside of three weeks. He's had maybe 4 pairs of these over the years and about 4 similar pairs from other brands. One of three things fail. Eventually he wears through the toe or the sole. Both are unfortunate, but at that point they've done their job. The third thing that can fail are the lacing holes. On most boots like these they are loop grommet. Metal ones get flattened. If you bend them back they break. Plastic ones just break. These ones have plastic eyelets because plastic is cheap. They pop out and suddenly the laves saw through the leather and lining. I'd love to replace them with metal eyelets. (0 or 00 size will work), but thanks to the rubberie squishiness of the lining it's too thick for even long shank ones. Please make them with metal eyelets! I'm sorta tired of boots being trashed in six months.

Nice boots!
They are some of the nicest boots I owned so far. I was looking for something that I could wear through the metal detectors at the airports, and they do a very good job at this. They are lighter than the traditional steel cap boots, but not as bulky as some of the other composite ones. Sizing was fine, I bought my usual size and they fit nicely. They do not have any metal fittings, and only time will tell if the plastic ones are durable enough, but they look to be quite well made. After one day of wearing they definitely feel very comfortable and they did not hurt my feet at all. For the price I think they are a good deal, and if they last 18-24 months I will buy them again.

Timberland ruined the Titan with one change
Timberland ruined the Titan with one design change. This would have been my 8th pair of Titans. They were my favorite model of boot and have been for years. Until they changed the top lace cleats to eyelets. Ease of donning the boot has been reduced, as well as fine tuning the tightness across the ankle. Some people hate change and unfortunately, I hate these boots now. ***UPDATE*** You can find the steel toe version with the speed laces, but the leather feels incredibly thin compared to these without the speed laces. Choose wisely.

Very comfortable
Even on day one these were comfortable. Only pair of boots I've worn that I'm not begging to take off at the end of the day. I was expecting to need to put inserts in and I have no reason to.
