If you don't need 100% cotton socks, these are a GREAT choice, comfortable, soft, well made

First, note that these socks are less than 50% cotton. I know that matters to some people and thus want to be clear at the outset as these do turn up when searching for cotton socks. I wear blended socks for hiking; wearing 100% cotton socks for hiking is ill-advised as: 1. Cotton is heavy and gets heavier when wet. 2. Cotton soaks up sweat and stays wet, meaning you'll have wet feet. 3. Wet cotton is a poor insulator so you'll have wet and potentially cold feet. 4. Cotton takes a long time to dry. I have found that a mix with less than 50% cotton is ideal for me for hiking. These fit what I look for (and my feet) and do the job very well. They are well-sized, soft, and comfortable but do not soak up as much moisture as cotton socks and dissipate what they do soak up more quickly. They also dry more quickly than cotton socks. These socks are GREAT for me, and in a four-pack or larger are priced competitively with no-name socks or entirely synthetic socks. This blend is the right one for me.

Not boot socks!

These socks may be cushioned but they're not boot socks! I expected a thicker, fully cushioned sock from Timberland. Glad I just bought 1 pack!

Comfortable

These socks seem like great quality and very durable, I think they'll hold up for a while. My husband works in construction and he was loyal another popular brand of men's work socks for many years until they changed them. Now, they're thin and fall apart after one washing. These are holding up very well and he says that they're super comfortable and more supportive in the arch than the other brand. They're not quite as cushioned in the heels, but he says it's enough for him. They are a lighter weight but not thin or cheap feeling, so they're perfect for inside his boots. The material is much softer than his old ones. The leg of the sock is stretchy but fitted, it doesn't fall down or leave red marks from being too tight. I was afraid that these would be too small on his feet because he wears a shoe size 13 or 14, but they fit perfectly. Overall, he says that these are the perfect tube socks and he's tried a lot of different ones since his favorite brand changed their socks. I'll be ordering lots more!

Durable, soft, well sized socks

These are very nice socks! To start with, they fit my son, who has large feet and often finds socks to be too small for him. They are very durable and strong, and have stood up to his heavy use. But even with their strong nature, they are soft and comfortable, and cushion the foot. I've washed and dried them over and over, and found they still look good, haven't shrunk and come out ready for another comfortable wear!
