Beware of sensitive scalp
Love the scent of this and the way it makes my hair feel however if you have a sensitive scalp or are prone to dandruff as I do- it does not help maybe even makes it worse..? I will say I can brush my thin hair out with ease so tear free is accurate

Brings the lavender field to the shower
This shampoo and body wash combo transforms me to the patio deck of a lavender farm in Hawaii every time. Changing from chemical-filled shampoos and body wash to a more natural one - Honest Co. was my first choice. It is gentle enough that I can use it on my newborn. Cutting down the unnecessary cost of having to have multiple hair and body products at home. I only wish that the bottle wasn't plastic and it was more sustainable packaging-wise.

The ONLY thing my son can use.
We tried countless brands and found this when my son was about 2. His eczema calmed, we both loved the smell which is kind of a big deal since even the unscented ones stink and it works well. About a year later he had the worst flair he's ever had. Didn't even think of it being the $25 for 30 loads laundry detergent that we started using a few months back because it was cheaper than the one we had been using. When there's a flair like that with no recent changes it's usually the skin changing it's mind about body products, we'd been using coconut oil for body lotion for a good while so that probably wasn't it, so we switched to the unscented version and it got worse. Yes we'd made a change but the super sensitive unscented bath wash from the same good brand couldn't possibly be the problem so we switched back to the more expensive detergent and there was no change. There is no explaining that desperate, devistating frustration and feeling that you are failing your child to anyone who hasn't had an eczema child and this one has sensory issues too so he was rejecting pretty much all clothing at this point. We switched back to this one and his forehead was perfect after the first bath and thought his checks might be a little better but it was really hard to tell at that point. It took a bit but his skin kept improving and I am now working on a stock pile that makes doomsday preppers look like amateurs. Stop reading and buy it. If your here looking for something to help with your baby's eczema or sensitive skin, please please buy it

Absolutely LOVE this wash!! I have always used Cetaphil or Cerave and they're good, but I'm officially sticking with this! It smells GOOD and my daughter's scalp smells better than it has in months. Mind you, it didn't smell bad before, but this shampoo just smells so CLEAN. I use this along with their lotion. Big thumbs up for both items!

I’m torn…
I had high hopes for this as I was looking at other Honest products while switching to non toxic products in my home. It works… it smells nice… and I like the pump bottle… but I can’t say I’m thrilled with how it feels or washes my hair. My hair seems flat and oily after using.

I love this stuff, it smells amazing and lathers up good. It’s pricier, but this bottle lasts us quite a while with 2 kiddos!

Beautifully scented, thick and moisturizing.
This beautiful product is being used as an adult bath gel. The fragrance is medium strength lavender, thick and lathers very well. I have not tried it as a shampoo, but might reorder this item in a different fragrance for variation even though I love lavender. The smell lingers delightfully. I recommend this product heartily.

Horrible scent
Smells ok in the bottle, as soon as I applied it to 2 of my small children's hair it smelt horribly, not like lavender at all, just a really bad smell altogether. We will never purchase this scent again.

Like 2 in 1 feature.
Liked that scent not overpowering. Convenient 2 in 1 when showering .. less ‘clutter’, only 1 easy to use pump bottle. For additional hair shine and softness would be nice if gel contained a little ‘conditioner’.

Honest or nothing
We love all of the Honest company products. We have been using them since my daughter was born 2 years ago. The smell is amazing, it lathers great and it's super gentle on her sensitive skin! LOVE these products!
