5 years, no problem. Works great.
Have been using this pump since April 2013 to blow up a double queen air mattress and the kid pool. We were using it over the weekend when my sister asked where to get it, so I pulled it up on Amazon for her. After reading a couple of negative reviews I decided to write my own. Over all remember that this is a hand pump, it requires energy to use and you are going to be the one supplying that energy. If you don't want to exhibit muscular force, get an electric pump. After 5 years of moderate use, blowing up the air mattress 3 to 4 times a year, and the kid pool 6 to 7 times a year, and the various odds and ends like beach balls, it is still like the first day. The seal doesn't leak and I still get full air movement through the whole stroke. I really like the double action pump and it works! I also like the ability to deflate everything I put air into. It's great to watch everyone trying to stand on stuff and pinch that little nozzle. I just throw the attachment in and pump the air out 3x as fast. The handle does feel a little flimsy but it has lasted, no problem. The tubing doesn't leak (no holes, tears, kinks, etc) and still seals into the handle. The attachments/fittings are great. It seems there is an attachment for anything I need to put air into (doesn't work for tires or sports balls). If your looking for a hand pump, get this one.

Durable, effective and a great value.
This pump cut my inflation time for a twin pontoon raft in half. It moves significant volumes of air with both the up and down strokes. A great value for the money.

pump itself is good, although tip connector leaks some
The pump works well, and quickly inflates exercise balls and balloons. The output hose has a bayonet-type connection to four different tips. It is not any type of standard hose connection as far as I know. This connection leaks. Not enough to be a problem for typical uses, but I find it annoying. If you only use one type of tip, you could fix it with tape or glue. Haven't taken it apart but I guess the piston is about 4.5 inches in diameter. I attached the largest of the four tips to a 1/2-inch pipe fitting using hot-melt glue, caulk, and tape, and measured the pressure. The pump can deliver up to 9 psi with my full weight on it (and since it pumps both ways, remember you need to use the same force pulling up, as pushing down). The label on the pump says nominal 1 bar pressure (14.5 psi) but due to the large piston you'd have to be able to pull and push well over 200 pounds to reach that. Of course for an air mattress etc. you'd never need or want anything like that pressure.

Decent pump for cost
I bought this to pump up my surf wing kite and SUP. It inflates pretty well with the double pump action. I wish it had a pressure gauge and was slightly taller in the pumping action. I have to bend down quite a bit to pump.

small tough pump. No HR adaptor
Great take along pump for rafting, inflatable kayak. You don't want to pump up your raft with it unless you are into self torture and have all afternoon. Unlike the dept store pumps that look similar this thing is built more like a real raft pump. Purchased 5 pk of HR valves adapters with 2 washers here on Amazon(cheaper than one locally) and they fit on one of the included adaptors. My WW Raft, Paddle Cat, K1 WW ducky, and SUP all need a HR inflator. Cons: doesn't come with HR adaptor. The most used valve on rafts and WW inflatables. If you want a small pump that will not let you down (and do not want to pay NRS prices) buy this and HK adaptor(s) with washers.

Easy, quiet mattress inflation
I am so glad I read the reviews and bought this for our camping trip. I think every air mattress loses pressure as it stretches (especially during the first few uses), and as temperatures drop at night. This pump made inflating our queen mattress easy, and was not noisy to our neighbors at the campground when I used it to add air at 3am. A battery or electric pump is usually loud and obnoxious, and if the batteries die, you are sleeping on the ground. It does take some physical effort to use, but I was able to sit comfortably in a camp chair, with one foot on the base of the pump, to make it pretty easy. Camping usually isn't a race anyway. The pump is plastic, so I protect it and I am careful when using it. It is relatively large, so if space is a concern you might not like it. Overall I think it was a solid purchase.

Great but …
Worried about durability. I used it for pumping a kite for kite surfing/boarding.

Works as advertised - QUIET and Easy to use, inflates on push and pull strokes
Super easy and quiet. Came with 4 diff size nozzles, and the biggest 1/2" size fit my air bed perfectly. It took 3 minutes and 100 up & 100 down strokes to fully inflate 5' x 7'6" x 7-8" airbed. Pump is smaller than I was expecting, floor to top of yellow body is only 12" so you ARE going to be bending over while pushing and pulling, and breaking a decent sweat depending on how fast you go. I HATE THE NOISY ELECTRIC ONES, ESPECIALLY AT CAMPSITES, so this one is perfect. Would be great for inflatable kayak cause you could suck it dry too (i haven't tried the sucking option, just inflating).
