Too Big for Babydoll sheep

My babydoll sheep's muzzles are too small/short for the loop, they slip out. Otherwise, its a good product, nice quality, but it just didn't work for us!

Good alternative to a full grooming stand

My sons have 4-H lambs, and because we will only be grooming 4 lambs/sheep, I didn't really want to spring for the cost of a full grooming stand, let alone store it. I decided to give this a shot and am happy I did. It is easy to carry out to the pasture, attach to a farm gate or fence rail (2 x 4 or 2 x 6 is best), and then remove and store when done. The best thing...my children can set this up themselves and take care of their animals with minimal supervision. I gave this four stars instead of five because of the head piece. I'm not fond of the ring/chain style. I wish it had the style where the animals head is cradled by metal pieces instead of having to insert their nose in the ring. There were a couple of times our sheep were able to turn their head out of the nose ring, though they were not able to get away due to the chain behind their ears. Overall, I'd buy this again due to it being so very portable and easy to store and set up.

Difficult to use

I would like this thing if I could get it set up correctly but unfortunately I can't seem to figure out a place to attach it that is the right height for my animals.. really frustrating for someone who isnt going to build something for it to work with...

Size is for small goats.

Head piece is too small for my Nubian buck. His mouth does not go through the metal piece and the chain is way to short. Maybe okay for a doe or a kid.

I LOVE using this daily on my 2 show sheep it is a awesome and helpful product to have in my sheep barn! It seems to work very well and is very sturdy. It helps a lot when I have to clean my sheep’s hooves or shear them.
