Triple wall insulation does nothing, sent wrong lid, false specs
I bought the stainless steel tumbler. The Star Wars design of the tumbler looks cool. I love the artwork. Unfortunately that's what you're paying the premium costs for -- the looks. This tumbler doesn't do anything better than my $8 Ozark Trail double-walled tumbler. After doing several tests to compare the heat retention I found they are basically the same (the Tervis was actually worse by 1-2 degrees). Which means that impressive sounding "triple walled" insulation isn't better at all. They should have taken one of the walls from the tumbler and added it to the the lid to make it double walled which WOULD have helped with heat/cold retention. Then they sent me the wrong lid. The product description shows a slider lid but I received a hammer lid instead. I would have been perfectly ok with this if the hammer lid was leakproof but it's not. If I invert the tumbler it spills out so there's no benefit to this hammer lid style. It works fine but slider lids are easier to open and close. Although cleaning the hammer lid is much easier because there's nowhere for the liquid to seep inside unlike a slider lid. So that's something to consider. The performance claims on the page are completely false. It says the tumbler can keep liquids hot for 8 hours which is not even close. In my heat tests I started with 168F water, after 2 hours it was 137F, after 3 hours it was 130F, after 4 hours it was 123F which is just warm. If I start with boiling water at 212F, after 4 hours it was 138F, 5 hours it was 130, 6 hours 123F. I would have been happy with 5 hours but that's with boiling liquid and most people don't put boiling liquids in their tumbler. They put hot coffee or tea and the temps will be far lower after brewing, typically 160-170F. So I call BS on this product's claims. I didn't compare cold tests because almost all stainless steel insulated tumblers will keep cold drinks cold for many hours, more than you would probably need, and I was mainly concerned about hot drinks for my personal use. My recommendation is to only buy Tervis tumblers if you LOVE the design because that's what you're paying extra for. Oh yea, Ozark Trail tumblers also have a lifetime warranty while Tervis has a 5 year warranty which is still respectable but still loses.

Bought it for Baby Yoda, but a few criticisms
This tumbler is kind of expensive ($29.99 when I purchased). That's not a flaw (I knew this when I purchased, of course), but it's a criticism for whether you're getting your money's worth. A Tervis stainless steel tumbler can be had for less, so really you're paying extra for Baby Yoda. :-) The tumbler is not dishwashable. I knew this before I purchased, so I am not complaining about that, just noting. (The lid is dishwashble.) This tumbler comes with a hammer lid. I thought this might be a good feature, but it turns out it's a negative feature. When the lid is open it bumps against my nose when tilting to drink. I'm not the only one this happens to, so it's not a nose defect on my part. (And I have a flat Asian nose, besides.) I replaced the lid with a slider-style lid, and I'm much happier with it now. So overall, tumbler works well, like Baby Yoda, kind of expensive, wish it came with a slider lid instead of a hammer lid.

Bought for my Husband and he really liked it. Trevis makes the best cups no doubt. Cup says cold forever. Ice is still kinda there in the morning we live in the PNW . But even living in AZ this cup held up. We have loads of them they are just that good. Design could have been a little better dosen't stand out much.
