Durable. Surprisingly so.

So, I left the cup on the corner of my truck bed and drove off. I thought surely it would have shattered from the impact on the pavement. Nope. After I realized it had fallen off, I turned around to get the cup and someone ran over the lid in front of me. and it still works.

Second One I've Purchased. Love These! My Favorite Cup!

O.k. This is the second Tervis Tumbler I have purchased with the Harry Potter theme. The first I purchased for myself and I use it every day. I have put hot chai in this and it stays hot. I have put iced chai in this and it stays cold. The cup doesn't sweat, which makes this ideal. It is completely dishwasher safe and fits nicely in my car cup holder. My friend's daughter was having a Harry Potter themed birthday and I purchased a second one for her and she loves it! When traveling my son actually "borrowed" my cup and I went through cup withdrawal. I was very happy to have my cup back. If you have read this review to the end, just buy it already. You'll thank me later!

Holds beverages, tracks my kids with ease

This is not quite your typical Tervis mug. If you aren’t familiar with the brand, these cups have two plastic layers so that the cup doesn’t sweat when filled with cold beverages. I guess, technically, it would also help with maintaining hot/cold beverages with the lid in place, not that I ever use that. It turns out this model has a marauders map built into it and, let me tell you, this is handy when you’re in the kitchen hollering at your sons to do the dishes and everyone is ignoring you. There’s no lying to me about playing in your room when I clearly saw them upstairs on the Switch. Only downside is that I can’t track them outside the house - the kids were quick to pick up on this thanks to their detailed knowledge of the Harry Potter universe. Overall 5 out of 5 stars. My next splurge will be the invisibility cloak and, no, I won’t be telling anyone about it.

I love these cup but I wish the caps were heat resistant.

The caps keep falling to the bottom of the dishwasher and melting on the heating elements

Great value was cheaper than the Tervis company itself

The top where the lid closes over the hole is very loose it only stayed on for a couple of weeks before it became loose. However you can buy a replacement lid if you go to tervis.com or maybe on Amazon. However the cup itself is still great! Had it for a couple of years My first Harry Potter cup that I bought from Tervis brand.

Sweats. Doesn't keep fluids warm long.

The detail is very neat, which is the largest part of my positive review. I am a big HP fan so I overlook certain negatives. I was a bit discouraged that the cup does sweat at times. I had ice water in it and it did sweat on a warm day (75 f) despite other reviewers saying that it would not. Most of the time it does not sweat though (although Im curious to see how it will hold up as it warms up more). As for this cup being used to keep coffee or tea warm it is comparable to using a regular mug, as heat escapes quickly. I would not purchase this cup if that would be the part of the purpose. I find the perfect use for this is water only. I use it daily and it is holding up nicely with no fading.

Thirsty muggle approved

This mug has withstood my clumsiness countless times without spillage and does an amazing job keeping my drinks both hot and cold. I love the design and feel like a happy muggle every time I get to use my Marauder's Map mug/cup. Great gift for any HP fan too if you're stuck for ideas. Super happy with my tervis. Has got me drinking more water too! Always more enticed to use a cup we fangirl over.

Très belle tasse!

Je l'adore! Elle garde mon café au chaud durant toute la matinée. Facile à laver, l'image est une feuille insérée entre les deux surfaces de la tasse, ce qui fait qu'elle ne disparaîtra pas au lavage. Je la recommande fortement!

Great looking cup!

The first product I received was an inverse picture of the what was displayed. But I returned it and got the correct one back in a few days. Once the correct product was received it looks great. Very solid cup. 24oz is quite large, but that's my own fault for not ordering the smaller size. Overall - great product. Image very clear

Love this product use it for work every day the only issue I have is the piece you move to drink from it is a tad loose so can leak on occasion. Aside from that I would highly recommend it.

Great quality and adorable print

Super cute print! I love the back (not shown) it says "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" with the foot prints. I have another Tervis mug that I love so I knew I would be getting great quality before I ordered. Very happy with this purchase. I ordered a 2nd one to give as a gift to my sister.

Picture is a bit misleading - I should've read the reviews first!

If I'd read the reviews before I bought this, I'd have realized the Map print does not go all the way around the cup. My bad! The picture in the listing is a bit misleading and I was expecting it to go all the way around but the clear part does have little footprints and "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" printed on it so it's actually quite cool. Once I'd gotten over that little surprise, I fell in love with this cup. I have a few Tervis cups and I swear by them - good in the dishwasher, keeps cold drinks and ice cold forever, interchangeable lids. Haven't tried with hot drinks. As a Harry Potter fan, I love this cup - just don't be surprised when you find that the Map is only on the front half of the cup!
