Is there a different Laura Ashley than the one I remember from years ago? I always associated her items as being very high end ~ and for good reason. High quality materials, made well, great style. Maybe this curtain is a knock-off using her stolen name?? I was expecting a high-quality fabric, something with substance. Instead this is very light-weight, you can see through it with the light coming in from behind through the window. I just hung it, so I may not know all the permutations yet, but I think will like it this way. It will allow light through, even with the curtain pulled all the way out ~ in Seattle, you can never have too much light coming in! The lace trim is very ho-hum. 100% cotton, but the same thing has been available at JoAnn Fabrics for eons. The size covers the opening, but I'm afraid it will shrink when washed and then it will be too short or I'll have to lower the rod (not ideal). Also, the button holes for hanging are very wimpy. I sew myself, and these do not pass muster. They should have used heavier thread or gone over them a couple of times or used a closer stitch. These will not last long, especially after washing and are likely to teat if the curtain is yanked open too hard. I do like the price, but overall: bleh.

Simple white shower curtain

Simple white shower curtain. I want to first comment on the issue of the color (from other reviews), it is a soft white, not a stark white. It has a slight off-White tint to it, more-so in the lace sections. It is thin, so be sure you have a white liner. I tried to post a pic to show the difference in my stark/bright white liner vs. this shower curtain, but uploading a pic isn't an option anymore? Strange?? I really like this curtain because it was going into a guest bathroom that I did not want to look too frilly. I loved some of the ruffled curtains, just not for this bathroom. And I am not a fan of the waffle fabric. So, this was the best thing I could find that wasn’t too generic looking. I think once my last few wrinkles are out, (already ironed, but needs some streaming) I will be totally happy with it!!

Perfect simple, but not basic, shower curtain

At first I ordered a “like new” version of this thinking someone bought it, didn’t like it and retuned it. However, when I actually got the shower curtain the previous customer had pulled a fast one and returned a cheap shower liner. Amazon made it right and sent the correct one and it’s exactly what I was looking for. As another person said it’s not bright white, but I also wouldn’t call it off-white or cream. I’d call it farmhouse white. It’s simple, clean, cotton, and not too frilly without being boring.

Thinner than I thought it would be…

Overall it’s okay but thinner material than I thought it would be. It ended up being shorter than I needed so I replaced it.

Rustic Beauty

Gives my bathroom a rustic elegant look without being over the top. This allows you to add some fixtures around the bathroom. I love this with our copper\bronze shower rod and shower hooks :)

Cute but...

This is a cute simple shower curtain, a little thin but nice. Only trouble is its not quite white, but more of a light off white. I'm keeping it tho until something cuter and whiter catches my attention, haha. :)

Purchased 2 - not the same length! Not high quality.

I ordered 2 of these lace curtains for my funky old bathtub/shower. They are not the same length and one is clearly not even even at the bottom. I am ordering another one to hopefully have 2 of the same length. In addition the holes at the top are just button hole sewn, no grommets, so the curtain just hangs, and is lower than the liner inside the tub. Overall I think these are overpriced for the and not the same quality I am used to from Laura Ashley.
