Larger than normal pie tins
The quality feels nice and bakes fine, but make sure to DOUBLE the recipe!! It only appears slightly larger than your normal pie tin, but the slight increase in circumference and depth requires a double batch.... I didn't want to know... my first attempt in this tin turned out sad cause my normal filling amount was so shallow. Thought 1.5times would do the trick and it still wasn't enough.... ran out of pie dough for the top crust with the normal recipe :( Good pie tin, but just double the recipe!! P.S. the lid is kind of useless cause once you have a baked pie in there, the crust around the rim prevents the lid from closing. Or the lid breaks the crust. It's useful as a microwave cover though.

Restaurant kitchen quality
Took me a couple weeks to find this, (10", metal instead of glass), was actually looking for stainless steel, but this pan is awesome! I've been using it for quiche and felt I needed metal to help keep my crust flaky and this is perfect. A bit pricier than any of my other pie plates, but I WILL be purchasing more of these. I just told my wife a minute ago that this is my favorite pie pan now. "Oh! I should tell people!", so here I am, my first review. -that's how much I am liking this pan.

this covers pies so easy
this is a real sturdy product. A little hard to open . but it works great over a pie on a plate too. I bought one for me and then one for friend

Have pie will travel!
This carrier is great, with a few flaws. The first is most pie crusts sold in the US are 9 in pie crust, and most US cook books give you a recipe for 9 in pie crust. The problem is the pan is 10 in. Second, if you did a decorative pie crust the edges would get messed up when applying the lid. But what this pie carrier is perfect for is carrying a cooled 9 in pie baked in another 9 in pie pan and set into the 10 in bottom of this carrier. So while I now have 2 pie pans, not great for minimalism but great for transporting pie with out messing up the crust.

Superb pan, highly recommended
Soon as you get it you know this is a well made, solid item. 22 oz weight. Nice surface. Thick edge rolled under well. 15” outer dim, 13.25” inner dimension, approx 1/2” deep (maybe a bit less; hard to tell exactly because the bottom is nice and thick). Edge is about a 45 degree slope, then rolled under at top. No holes in this pizza pan. The Nordic Ware logo is embossed on the working surface, sad to say, but my experience with similar items says this won’t be too much of a dirt-collection problem. Compared to my other pizza pan, a great Commercial II pan that has holes, and is thinner (16oz same diameter) this is impressive. Easy to clean — set it on a counter, fill w warm water, let it sit, clean it off. Thick bottom means more even heat conductivity for more even cooking. Care instructions say, to paraphrase: Wash by hand with warm soapy water. Dishwashers use will discolor the aluminum — purely cosmetic, no change to baking properties or safety. Pan works well with parchment paper, silicone mats, or traditional butter/flour methods. Roast vegetables work well using oil or butter. Metal utensils or metal scouring pads can scratch the surface but won’t affect performance. Nylon, wood, silicone utensils are fine. Acids such as vinegar or tomato might darken or pit any aluminum pan such as this one. Then it says NORDIC WARE LIFETIME WARRANTY without defining what that means. Made in America. Family owned. BTW I bought this, full price.

Convenient and protected pie dish.
This is my go-to pie dish now. It assists In browning the crust and is an ample size. It is sturdy. Having the tight fitting lid is genius.

Protects the pie
This is the 3rd one of these we have purchaed over the years. They work very well and are durable. The aluminum pan helps keep the pie cold. We have never cooked a pie in one of these and only use it for transport. Only gave it 4 stars because where the lip of the pan is rolled over and under it is nowhere as nicely done as the last one we bought several years ago. There were also oils on that part of the pan that had to be cleaned.

Great pie tins
I ordered two of these to use at Thanksgiving so that I could take pies to the different feasts. Having a lid for pie pans makes it much easier to take pies the 140 miles in a pick up. There are two things to be aware of. The first is that this is a 10 pie pan not the more standard 9 inch pan. I had to increase filling amounts and roll out the premade pie crust to be just a bit larger than normal. The second is that the lids snap onto the edge of the pan and so if your crust goes to the very edge of the pan as mine always do, putting the lid on is going to break the edges of the crust. So on the second set of pies I crimped my edges so that they DIDN'T go all the way to the edge. And I actually pushed two opposite areas in a little bit more. This worked fine. Now the second issue I had is probably more related to my inexperience making pies. The bottom of the first cherry pie that I made didn't bake as quickly as the sides and top. So even on my cherry pie I ended up prebaking the crust a little before putting filling in. But overall, I am happy with the pans and in fact, my son "stole" one of them to keep.

Excellent quality & larger than expected
-heavy duty, great quality -lid fits great, very high dome and it has air vents -I was surprised how big it is, depth wise, I found I needed to use more pie crust and double the filling than my older pie pans (have vintage enamel & aluminum 8-9” pie pans). -never wash in the dishwasher, it will discolour -I use pre-soaped SOS pads to wash this kind of bakeware or just plain soap and water UPDATE- used it for awhile, I find it awkward to use because it’s so deep! More like a cake pan, so I’ve started to use it primarily for meat pies. Too deep for fruit pies.

Nice product
Very difficult to remove the cover from the pan, otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars!

Great for Family Size Baking and Transporting
To keep busy during this pandemic I cook, bake and deliver food for family. Great size for baking family size quiches and pies, with a lid perfect for deliveries, otherwise difficult to keep in one piece. Foil and Cling Wrap not the best. Just one note of caution - if you are planning to transport your pie, watch the pie edges do not prevent you from using the lid. Leave the last ring on the edge free of pastry. I have also used this pie pan to transport cakes.
