Fun but maybe not good...

I was thrilled to receive these balls given my affinity for Georgia Tech. I just started golf last fall and live in an area where it's tough to golf over the winter, so I'm by no means an expert at the quality of golf products, nor am I particularly good at using them. With that being said, I appreciated being able to show my Georgia Tech pride with these balls. However, when I took a closer look at these balls, I could see some dimples that weren't particularly regularly shaped and on some balls I could see the seam where the two halves of the shell is put together. I'm not saying that because there's an obvious place where there's no dimples around the circumference of the ball, but I can see the actual line of the seam. I played a couple of holes with these balls and they acted like any other ball I use, but again- I'm new to this. However, I'm pretty sure somebody that's more knowledgable/better at golf would experience a difference in using these balls given the imperfections I can visibly see. Ultimately, I decided that even with their elevated price, the best thing for me to do was buy MORE of these balls to use with my shag tube when I practice in the short game area. These balls are quite easily identifiable as mine since I live so far from the southeast where you may expect to see these balls more often. EDIT: It appears there's GT logo'd Bridgestone e6 balls cheaper than these. Name brand balls for less cash. Certainly look elsewhere:NCAA Georgia Tech Logo 2013 e6 Golf Balls (Pack of 12)

USC golf balls - the perfect, no-brainer gift for the Trojan fan in your family. I got these for mom for Christmas this year, as she'd asked for them specifically. It's a very fair price for a very fun gift that will (hopefully) last for more than a few rounds of 18 holes. Just wish mom didn't hit so many of them in the water hazards :)

Underwhelmed

I purchased these as a gift, completely ignorant of the quality of the golf balls themselves. I was happy with my purchase, but my only beef is with the packaging. For almost $2 a ball it would have been nice to receive them in a box instead of a plastic container. All-in-all, a good gift for a Florida Gators golfer. :)
