We love these cups!
This is the only cup I use for my 22 month old. I was looking for something that wouldn’t leak all over, was easy to clean and would hold up to my toddler throwing it on the floor. These cups check each category. I gave them 4 stars in each category for a few reasons. Leak proof: if used as is, they don’t leak much. I cut the valve out of the straw though to help my son drink easier. He has low muscle tone and the valve made it hard for him to drink. With my modification, they’ll leak a small amount while knocked over. I just bought a new set and I’m going to test it before I cut the valve out of the straw and see if they preform better. They don’t leak when the straw is closed into the lid. Cleaning: being able to clean the parts well was high on my list. Moldy baby cups, no thanks! I almost gave these 5 stars for ease of cleaning, but the lid is a little tricky to take apart and re-assemble. I actually initially didn’t realize that it came apart. It took a bit to get the hang of, but once I figured it out, it’s fairly simple. Durability: our first cup just broke. My son does throw his cups still and I’m sure that’s why. It did last about 6 months, so it’s not at all! If you have a chewer, I’d suggest taking the cup away once your child stops drinking and starts chewing. My son is teething and chews on everything. He did damage one straw, but I was able to snip of the damaged part and it was still long enough to use. My only other complaint is the angle of the straw. The straw’s angle does make it little challenging to get all of the liquid out. If I turn it just right, my son can get the rest out, but he hasn’t figured out how to do that part on his own yet. These are the only cups I will buy. They really are great! I do have a complaint with the listing. I know it says colors may vary. It is disappointing because I really wanted the bear cup but it appears to be unavailable since both times I ordered, I was given a different one.

Works well for what it is
We've had these for almost 1.5 years. They've held up and have been my favorite cup. The valve is good to help prevent water from spilling. Just note when outside I have seen on hot days the water coming up out of the straw. The straw had held up. No cracks or anything. Cleaning is a struggle but the lid does come apart once you figure it out and definitely recommend doing that. Only other con is the angle of the straw but my kid eventually figured out how it has to go to get water. Would recommend!

Hazy and scratched plastic, prone to leaks, and always ships the wrong cups!
These are low-quality cups compared to the supposedly same ones NUK sells in Europe. I've bought cups from this seller multiple times and also have bought the supposedly same cups in Europe. They're not the same quality. The NUK cups sold on Amazon in Europe are nice cups but these are not. If you buy from this seller you'll receive cups with hazy plastic, circular scratches on the lids and cups, and they'll leak frequently. Enjoy liquids spilling on your, your toddler, or the floor? The NUK USA cups almost appear to be manufacturer rejects and have serious quality issues. To top it all off, if you buy the 2 pack of the green and purple cups, you'll receive a 2 pack of the same colors. Every single time. They know about this and still haven't fixed their listing. 1. The NUK USA cups hazy plastic, unlike the NUK cups sold in Europe. Why? 2. There are always circular scratches on the top of the lids and cups, unlike the ones they sell in Europe. Why? 3. The NUK USA lids are prone to leaking on some of the cups. You'll have a tight seal on a brand new cup and liquid will come out the sides. It's odd since we don't have this problem with the 'same' cups sold in Europe. 4. They ship them in a plastic bag. 5. If you buy the two-pack that's supposed to have a green and purple cup you'll get 2 of the same color. Every single time. It's frustrating and there have been many complaints but they still can't get their listings right. The charitable explanation is that NUK USA has a manufacturing issue or a shipping issue. NUK USA cups are made of parts from both the USA and Europe, whereas the good quality cups sold on Amazon in Europe are made exclusively in Europe. The less charitable explanation is that they are sending manufacturer rejects to be assembled in the USA, which was my first thought.

100% Leak Proof!
I have bought hundreds, yes hundreds of dollars worth of kids cups (which isn’t hard to do some are pretty pricey). I have tired munchkin weighted straw cups, munchkin 360 other 360 cups, contigo, many different brands with a straw... out of them all THESE ARE THE ONLY CUPS THAT TRULY DO NOT LEAK!!! All of the others claimed to be leak and spill proof but they were not! I will always buy these cups over any other brand! Anything NUK has been the best experience for me. The only downfall and it’s a huge one (and the reason for taking away one star) is how you cannot purchase separate straws. If a toddler so happens to chew it off, you automatically have to spend another $6 or $10 if you’re like me and “might as well buy a back up and get the two pack” I have bought 20 of these cups each time was purely because of a simple chewed off straw.

Doesn't spill and works well for my toddler!
I liked this cup so much that when I saw these in a local grocery store I grabbed a couple more! I finally feel like my 15 month old is drinking more water, and they really don't leak at all! I ordered the set called "cat and dog" since it was the least expensive, maybe it's like a mystery set since I got one purple cup and one with the koala and turtle. I like both designs so I was happy with that. The only thing that annoyed me was that the care directions included were for almost every Nuk product ever made for drinking, and I wasn't confident if they could go in the dishwasher or not. I took a picture of the instructions on the back of this same cup that I found at the store in case anyone else would like to see it.
