Good product worth the money
leak proof durable easy to handle keeps coffee hot or tea for hours

Not recommended. Loses heat, lid gets very warm, not a great drinking experience for hot coffee.
If you're looking for a coffee tumbler that holds heat great, is easy to hold, is sturdy, can be opened and closed with one hand, is easy to clean, and provides a great drinking experience....look elsewhere. This one ticks SOME of those boxes, but not the most important: Drinking Experience and Heat Retention. First, the "good": The tumbler is sturdy, easy to hold, and is easily operated with just one hand. The lid snaps shut firmly and seals well enough to ensure that it's leak proof. Not so good: This S'ip by Swell tumbler loses 40 degrees (f) of heat in 2.5 hours. That's about average across the dozen or so tumblers I've tested. (The best is Thermos King with a heat loss of 31 degrees over 3 hours.) The lid is just one layer of relatively thin plastic ...which is where all the heat is escaping. The lid (the top 10% of the tumbler) gets quite warm to the touch. It's not going to burn you, but it's noticeably very warm. Drinking from the tumbler... because it's a flip top lid that does not have a "well" for the top to flip over into and get out of the way, the hot wet bottom of the open flip top gets pressed up against my nose when I try to sip from the tumbler. I don't want my nose coming into contact with that. The lip of the lid is about 1/4 of an inch thick. That's just too thick for sipping and results in more of "pouring" hot coffee into your mouth. If it were thinner it would be easier to sip from. Finally, it takes just a bit of fiddling to get the lid to seat properly when screwing it back on. For all those reasons I cannot recommend this tumbler. This particular Tumbler arrived in what appeared to be a new box, but the lid has a small dent as well as a little brown sticker. The paper wrapper on the bottom was taped closed as well. Those anomalies make me think that someone else got it before I did, and they returned it.

Best travel mug
I’ve tried a bunch of other styles and manufacturers and this is by far my favorite. Keeps coffee hot and never leaks and feels great in my hand. Love it!

Nice sleek travel mug. Cute and functional.
I am happy with this travel mug. I am a big fan of swell bottles in general, but had a hard time pulling the trigger on the regular swell travel mug. I didn’t care for the shape or the fact that you had to purchase a separate lid to have a sip-able travel mug. When I saw these I was curious how they would compare quality wise with the traditional swell products. No disappointments. It’s rather lightweight and it’s sleek, not cumbersome or awkward to hold or fit into a cup holder. It doesn’t keep my coffee quite as hot as a traditional swell bottle did, but that’s mostly because I leave the flip top part open. I also prefer it to my Contigo, which I got rid of, because this one is so easy to clean... no weird little gears and springs to deal with. The only downside when compared with an auto seal style cup or a traditional swell with a screw on lid is that, while it closes securely, not securely enough to just toss into my bag while full of coffee.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
I needed a new travel mug and quite honestly, shopped on line for hours before I decided to get not just one, but two. Man o man,my drink stays hot for hours! It is easy to clean and has a nice profile. I especially like how the lid is so comfy on my mouth! I like how it feels in my hand. Another thing I really like is that no matter how hot your drink is in the inside, the outside remains at room temperature. Right now, I am using for hot liquids but am confident that I will love to use it when I switch to cold liquids as summer approaches. And did I mention how much I love the look of this? I would recommend this with absolutely no reservations. As a matter of fact, I would like a couple more!

Love it - Super Hot
My fiance love these mugs. We purchased them at the beginning of quarantine while we were working from home and it was the best thing we ever did. I never thought of home thermus use before but it is great. Normally I pour myself a 1/2 or 1/4 cup because I drink so slowly and it still goes cold by the time I am done. This mug keeps it super hot. We found that sometimes its too hot, so I usually pour the coffee in in the morning and leave the lid off while I get changed then it keeps it at the perfect temperature the rest of the day! One time I even switched to ice coffee and there were ice cubes in the cup the next morning!

Favorite travel mug
I love that that this mug keeps drinks hot for hours. The lid seals tightly and the design makes for easy cleaning. I was really surprised that Target stopped carrying these. Happy to see them available here. I must selfishly admit that my first mug is still going strong years later and I was afraid that they would discontinue production on this S'ip by Swell mug and purchased two more "just incase"!

Not for bad joints
This cup does everything it promises and more. I love it so much and take it to all of my classes (and to the coffee shop for a discount!) The only issue I have with it though is the spout is so hard to open up. Sometimes, if the cup is full, when I open it the drink splashes out and makes a bit of a mess. It just takes some getting used to. On a brighter note, since it is so hard to open you know it won't spill!

Better for the car
This may keep your drink as hot as long as the regular S'well travel mug, but it fits much better in any cupholders out there. This is my go-to travel mug for... well... travel. Looks great, works great.

Glad I bought it!
Keeps my coffee hot for hours! Doesn’t leak if it falls over. And the top doesn’t pop off when I go from the warm house to the cold car in the winter like my other brand did from the temperature change. I would definitely buy this again.

Este termo es el segundo que compro de estos (el primero se me perdió y casi me da un infarto) es perfecto, lo llevo conmigo a todas partes. Puedes poner bebidas frías o calientes, y si está cerrado el termo, mantiene la temperatura por HORAS! Viaja conmigo a donde sea que vaya.
