No leaks, no odor
I recently switched from Chinet brand (the only option at my local supermarket) to Genuine Joe. These cups have not leaked onto my shirt yet, although when I remove the lid there is a bit of coffee residue below the hole which indicates a slow, non-dripping leak. One important thing to note for ANY disposable cup (be it Starbucks or GJ): if the lid is attached such that the drinking hole is directly above the seam of the cup, it is guaranteed to leak (as the seam is a channel for the coffee to escape the lid's seal). These cups have essentially no "cardboard odor", unlike other brands I've tried, which is important to coffee snobs like me. The lids also have very minimal "plastic odor", comparable to Solo lids (e.g. Starbucks). The insulator is very effective. I pour directly from my French press into the cup and let the coffee cool for 2 minutes before capping. At this point the insulator is warm but not unpleasantly hot. The cups ARE hard to remove from their stack. Bases upon my knowledge of physics, my hypothesis is that the pressure in between cups is lower than atmospheric pressure (near sea level); to wit, the bottom of the cups audibly pop when they separate (as the switch from concave to convex). Perhaps the factory is at moderate altitude or they use pressure the make the stacks as compressed as possible. It's a minor nuisance (it took me 2 minutes to seperate my stack upon delivery), but certainly an area that could use some improvement. All in all, a great cup, worth the price, and my new cup of choice.

Goid cups but too hard to separate from their stack
They insulate very well but only 3 stars bcus they are stacked too tightly and very hard to separate. I tried smacking the stack (gently) on the counter, twisting and/or (not recommended but these cups are just for my own use) grabbing one cup with my fingers, twisting and pulling it out of the stack. For the price they are not worth the exertions.

Solid cups last all day - keeps coffee hot and and hands cool.
These were a nice weight - a little thick . . very solid and not flimsy . . . much nicer than styrofoam or waxy paper cups. The ripples keep it cool to the touch and they look cool, too. I use these at home when I don't want to wash dishes and then take it with me when I go to work - they last all day and then some. I could use the same cup more than once - they don't seem to soak through at all. They did stick together in the stack really bad at first, but then I realized to twist them out instead of pulling straight up. I was really impressed - not for $9 which is what they are selling for today - but for the $2.50 or so I paid when I bought them they were an awesome deal and I would definitely buy them again at that price. Don't forget to buy the lids, too!

STURDY! Easy to hold!
These fabulous cups with ridges to hold, are the best I've ever used! Tough! Thick! Totally water proof! No worries with these, you get #1 quality! I just wish they still sold the 12 ounce I bought last year! ????Love these for hot coffee, chai tea, hot chocolate, and they microwave perfect! You won't regret getting these!

Great cups
Great cups but they do not have lids. The purpose of the cup is to hold hot liquids. Cup does not serve its purpose. Cup was useless.

TOP QUALITY HOT CUPS
The prompt handling and shipping are appreciated. This item was received in 2 days. These cups are of good quality but not too easy to separate. (for this, I think 4 1/2 stars are appropriate). We had purchased a case of 500 previously and have less than half remaining. The two sleeves purchased are to ensure that we have enough for an upcoming Conference. I believe we would still use them again if needed.

Great cups
Great cups, keep your coffee warm (along with the coordinating lids). I would not go so far as to say you could use this all day for multiple refills. I found that it starts to break down after a second cup, especially if you do any microwave reheating with it. Definitely better than a regular paper hot cup, but maybe not quite as good a performer as expected. I agree with others who have said it's a challenge to pull them apart, which is worth noting if you have challenges with that sort of thing.

These are really sturdy! I thought they came with lids but they dont. But all in all pretty good for the price!
