Makes new deck look great

I have three toddlers and did not want anyone tripping or playing with any cords. These work great keeps from tripping and pulling on. Had them installed in my deck.

The media could not be loaded. I just installed, it's supposed to rain this weekend so we'll see if it fills up with water ???? ps. when I bought these we were a lot more expensive than $30 lol. big price drop!

Good 4 standard plugs not so much for larger ones like Echo dots or Mac power cord.

We installed 4 of these on our screened-in porch. I like that the design allows for you to close the lid and keep water away from electrical cords outside by snaking the cord out through a sealed channel; however, it it not good for devices with larger charging plugs, such as my MacBook charger, Echo dot, and other chargers with larger plugs. Some may fit but block use of the second outlet (that can be an issue anywhere) and others fit but you cannot then close the top. We can use an extension cord or strip surge, but that is less than ideal looking and for the strip surge it kind of defeats the purpose of protecting the electrical from water! Good overall, but we didn't think of the this issue in advance. Other outdoor outlets we looked at may have the same issue since they have a cover and you probably will not be able to close it with some of these larger plugs.

This is awesome.

I used this in the ceiling on my patio. I have an electric rollup sunshade, and I had to run power to it. It fits flush and clean to the ceiling. Great product.

Low Profile, Tough, Attractive

This is the best solution to adding a power outlet to a deck. Flush mount, waterproof and attractive. Easy install

Satisfied

So far so good. I installed this into my new deck floor. It’s plastic so we have to be careful not to break it when opening and closing the cover. If it gets pulled back too far it will likely snap. But it looks great and so far water hasn’t sealed into the outlet compartment.

Good looking code compliance.

This product is perfect for bringing power up to the deck. My deck is tracks and it fit in flawlessly. I just had to add one support 2 x 8 to make it rocksolid. The only thing to possibly rust of the screws holding the boxes together. I used stainless steel Fasteners.

expensive plastic junk

The cover does not open far enough with out damaging the plastic hinge to comfortably plug something in or assemble the product. The outlet area has no provision for drainage for when the chintzy weather seal likely fails. The provided screws are blunt and soft pot metal.

They are almost flush not interrupting walking path.

The color blended into the deck nicely, used USB/plug to put charging ports around the deck with a GFI at the start. To update for modern use. Plus having a clean look.
