Not bad for the money
I thought this would be worth a try for our guest bedroom since it was only $42. Assembly was very easy and it looks good for it costs. The only thing I didn't like is that the open shelf and the shelf inside the closed area is very cheap material...basically a glorified cardboard. Any sort of weight on these shelves will cause them to bow in very little time. Also a humid environment would probably cause them to warp and bow so be warned. I would be willing to pay a little extra for sturdier shelves. Overall though it is a good little nightstand for the money.

What I needed, not what I hoped for.
I am using this item as night stand. The construction was fairly simple and portrayed in pictures, instead of written instructions. The assemblage was easy except for the next to last step. As I screwed in the last two screws in order to attach the front to the sides, the unit would not square easy. The top screw, with some effort, came close to squaring the build, but the bottom screw was reamed and not securing anything. I guess it just decided it was born on the wrong side of the railroad tracks sand would not help its relatives. I went to my collection of odds and ends screws and found a couple that were slightly longer with a tighter screw(this is not a sexual entendre). Well the first one I tried had a square drive instead of a hex or simple slot for a flat head screw drive, so I decide this must be the illegitimate son of the original screw. The second screw I had from my collection did the trick and pulled the construction into square so I could mount the shelves. The shelves are thin and will not hold much weight, which is why I downgraded the unit for sturdiness. Hence, if you are willing to work through some of your illicit relationships this unit will work for you. It takes only one person to build and I would reinforce your build with either some Elmer's or wood glue. The shelf supports kept falling out so I used a little Gorilla glue on those. I am thinking of replacing or reinforcing the shelves and possible using the provided ones as a veneer. Total construction time should be less than an hour if everything goes together correctly.

you get what you pay for
Looks decent, it works for the function I needed for a very reasonable price. The main issue is the shelves on the inside which are incredibly flimsy and don't fit all the way (there's about 2 mm of space between the back of the cupboard and the shelf). I don't recommend this if you plan on loading up the inside with heavy books or anything similarly weighted as the shelves are VERY thin and bend under very little pressure. Other than that, it's fine. For the price, it's about the quality you would expect. Works great for a small room or apartment.

Great Stand but shelves are not entirely sturdy but may work for you...
Gave this only 4 stars because with a 500 sheet pack of paper on the inside shelf - the shelf visibly sags so overtime this may be a problem books may even be to heavy unless only one is used. There is no support down the middle of the shelf. Inside there is a shelf too at the bottom it is not adjustable it is the bottom of the inside of the cabinet. However, this piece is attractive in this finish of light tan or whatever it is. A wet glass will show if placed on the top but there is a light coat of shellack or whatever it is known as on the top. The magnetic door latch works fine. Overall it is sturdy the parts have wooden pegs that go into holes and then you use a phillips head screwdriver to put in the wood screws which make it sturdy - a caveman could put this together so it goes together easily. Mine came with the small wooden knobs that one sticks into the holes where the screw went into these are dark and do not match the wood finish of the cabinet so at each corner there is a dark spot on the facing and on the rear but overall who cares. The top is 24.5 inches off the ground and the top is 19 inches wide and 15 inches deep. The open top area inside is 14.5 wide and 12.5 deep. You have 6.5 inches of height in the open top area. The area when you open the cabinet drawer is 13.5 wide the cabinet door narrows this area and the inside is 12 inches deep with the door closed and you have 11.5 inches of height inside the cabinet - this baby sits 2.5 inches off the ground a 500 sheet pack of paper will fit under here barely.

Arrived with cracks
Cheaply made. Arrived with two of the wood parts cracked. I glued the cracked areas and clamped them while they dried, so they’re fine now. I get that this nightstand is priced very low, but the quality obviously suffers to make that possible. Besides the cracked pieces (see photos), the whole thing just feels cheap and flimsy. And despite technically being made of real wood, the MDF side pieces may as well be made of plastic. If you’re considering this item because it’s the only wood nightstand within your budget, you should consider saving up for a nicer wood item or just going with a better made made from a less expensive material.

It wasn't all aligned
I really like this bedside table for the price. The assembly was way easier than I imagined and took maybe 15 minutes. The only real issue I had with this table is that one of the pieces the hole that was drilled was maybe a millimeter or so off from the peg that needed to go into it. I thought I was doing something wrong putting it together but realized shortly that it was a manufacturing mistake. I was able to still put the table together and use it properly but that was a bit frustrating. The only other issue is there is no real support for the shelf so you can't put too much on it. I don't trust more than a few books. Overall though it serves its purpose and I would spend the money again.

Amazing workmanship
The workmanship on this product is surprisingly good, particularly for the cost. Fairly easy to assemble and far exceeded our expectations. I might buy another!

Shelves are horrible
Easy to assemble but the shelf set up is really bad. The top shelf has four little pins to support it, so if you put more than a lb on it, you risk breaking it. Why they didn’t add a bar in the middle under either shelf boggles my mind.
