Although none are perfect, I’ve tried a number of different types and found these to be the best. First found these in use in many high noise environments.

This classic continues to help us sleep and thrive

We have been buying these for decades. Very helpful for light sleepers. You have to get used to any earplug. Clean the ear canal every now and then with hydrogen peroxide and a little warm water (any earplugs will push wax deeper into the canal, where it can build up and eventually cause pain for some people.)

My favorite brand

These are easy to put into my ear canal. Most sounds are canceled. I like it that the ear plugs are loose in the box. The individual pillow packs per pair made more trash. The box is smaller without the pillow packs. That's less cardboard used. I highly recommend!

Amazon failure mounting

The media could not be loaded. Amazon or seller failure to send the right product after waiting 1 whole month. It's a nice product IF THE RIGHT PRODUCT WERE SENT.

Best I've found

These are the best ear plugs I've found. They're comfortable and cancel noise very well. I'm a super light sleeper. I need all the things -- ear plugs, eye mask, white noise machine. The only downside is that these plugs don't stay in my ears all night. They fall out. (For the record, I haven't found ear plugs that don't fall out at night.) However, they help me get to sleep, hence the good review. I keep a few extra on the my nightstand in case I have to reinsert at night. They last a while too. You can use them more than once, but probably not more than 3-4 times.

Love these earplugs! Didn't love the packaging

These are my favorite earplugs. I work in an industrial setting and have tried at least a dozen brands and styles over the ears. These fit my small ear canals, conform well, don't fall out, don't itch, and don't hurt. However the packaging is less than ideal. Do note that these earplugs come bulk in a dispenser box. They do NOT come packaged in pairs as one might assume from the description. And there is no picture to indicate that they would all be loose in a little box. While this is great to save on packaging, it makes it challenging to share because people are reaching into the box...

Best earplugs I've tried

I noticed many of the reviewers want earplugs for sleeping. I use them to protect my ears on my motorcycle or while doing loud yardwork. I've tried a lot of different, much more expensive, earplugs for both uses as I really want to block as much noise as possible and the problem w/ almost all of them is that everyone's ear canal is shaped different and even though the dB rating may be higher, they let a lot more noise in if they don't fit the ear correctly. The similar kind of bowling pin shaped foam ones I've tried tend to be a little smaller and don't rebound as well to prevent noise from coming in; tho for sleeping, perhaps the less rebound and pressure would be more comfortable as less noise needs to be blocked. Overall, this is an awesome deal on a basic earplug that'll cost a lot more if I picked them up in pharmacies or gas stations and since they last a long time if my fingers and ears are clean, should last a few years. Just roll it into a narrow cylinder between the fingers, pull the skin in front of the ear forward to open and straighten the canal, insert, and in 30 seconds or so the world goes quiet.

Ces bouchons sont très efficaces. Ils coupent mieux le bruit mais laisse bien entendre les voix. Plus confortables que ceux fournis par mon employeur.
