Extra small
The product overall is nice but charging over 100$ for the size it is , is a little excessive to me. I expected it to be bigger. And the hands are a little difficult to move my son is nervous about moving them cause he doesn’t want to break it

So cool
What I like is the texture and how metallic it is it is like someone took it out of the screen the only thing that doesn’t look good is that there is no almost no red but anyway, just six perfectly in my collection

You’ll bang your chest for excitement
I’ve heard some people’s stories about their copy had loose, floppy joints and that it falls apart too easily. Thankfully, that’s not the case with mine. My joints on my copy are mostly pretty good. A few stiffs here and there but mostly solid. It doesn’t fall apart at all unless I really force it. My only gripe though is that the ankles on my copy are loose and it’s sometimes hard to keep him standing but with the work of balance, I’ve managed to get it standing well enough. Also, the accessories are pretty good too.

Request it shipped in a Box!! IT'S NOT A TOY!
After reading countless reviews on here about people receiving damaged boxes, I was hesitant to buy this from Amazon. But it was listed at the retail price of $68 (with free shipping as well, surprisingly) and I didn't want to overpay. I contacted Amazon customer service via thier Chat, and requested they make a note on my order for it to be shipped in a Box, NOT a bubble mailer bag/evenelop and that I would immediately be returning it (without even opening it first) otherwise if it's not. Sure enough, it was shipped to me in a box and was in excellent condition, whew! One more thing I'd like to mention is people are apparently buying this figure for their young children to play with and blaming the product for lack of quality. This IS NOT a children's toy in any way whatsoever. This is a premium adult collectable ment to be posed, sat on a shelf for display and that is it. It is fragile and not ment for rough handling, it isn't a plaything. It's a display piece. Why anyone would pay $70-$120 for a 6 inch tall Godzilla figure thinking it's an actual children's toy is baffling. So that was a mistake on their part, no fault of the figure itself. People complaining about pieces falling off or gaps in the figure cannot possibly be familiar with Figuarts/Monsterarts. Look at these as pre-assembled model kits, in a way. That's how fragile these are so don't be surprised when your figure falls apart in 15 different pieces if you treat them like a $20 Marvel Legend. The majority of complainers on here have no experience with these and it shows. Smh. Mine came in great condition, looks absolutely amazing and I'm pleased to say that this batch seems to have a better paint application on the mouth than the first ones that were shipped out. It's a shame it doesn't include the Atomic Breath effect. That's unforgivable. It comes with two alternate hands, that's it. Articulation is terrific, the paint isn't sloppy at all and the joints are functional with acceptable range of motion as expected. Very happy with this. Had to wait about 12 days before it shipped but was worth it because I got it at it's original retail price with free shipping instead of paying the $120 most places are charging for it right now. Highly recommended to any SHMA collectors that are Godzilla fans. This thing is absolutely beautiful and pleased to have it in my collection. Kudos to Amazon for actually shipping it to me in great condition. Do not buy this for your kids, IT'S NOT A TOY!

Am I lucky?
I’m seeing all these reviews of people complaining about the figure and I’m questioning if I’m lucky because I have hardly any issues with this figure. The sculpting is great, although inaccurate. But I believe the reason for its inaccuracy is that fact that it was sculpted off of ape skeletons rather then a Kong render. So it’s basically an accurate ape with features of Kong 2021, but I don’t know for an absolute fact if this is true. The paint job is great, though I don’t really see how you could mess up a paint job for kong… it’s really black with brown dry-brush, but the paint in the mouth/teeth of the roaring head and on the battle axe look fantastic. The accessories are great and the amount the figure comes with for the price of $68 is unbelievable for an SHMA. The roaring head I have the most issue with (mainly cause of the inaccurate sculpt) but I’m not gonna complain because it’s better than not having a roaring head. Though I do wish it came with an angry face or something like that. Now for this big part… the articulation. On mine the articulation is great, but I too have issues. My issues are no where near as bad as other claim to have, but my right leg is a bit lose which can be irritating when trying to pose the figure and the left leg seems to be turned left a bit so when I try to “fix” it the leg will pop off, but nothing is broken and it’s an easy fix. I obviously can’t say that people are over exaggerating on how “poor” their figure is, but just know, don’t be rough on the figure or something will pop off, and these figures are not very good gifts for kids. There not toys, there collector items and they are recommended for around 16+. I’m not telling anyone what they can and can’t do, but some children are rough with toys and SHMA are well known for breaking easily, so if you wanna buy an expensive figure that could break for your kid, that’s on you. Overall the plastic for this figure seems to be softer than any plastic I’ve seen before on an SHMA, so that could be a major factor for the “easy popped off parts” for this figure. I personally would 100% recommend this figure because your not gonna find a Kong figure let alone an SHMA, with as much accessories and articulation at the price of $68. But remember at the end of the day, my opinion doesn’t matter and the choice is yours.

Plastic time bomb
The overall figure is cool BUT all the limbs and joints feel really loose . Even just getting out of the box some parts would just fall off when making some basic poses. I don't recommend it for any kid since they would break it pretty fast. If this was closer to the 35 to 40 price point I would feel more justified in my purchase, since it feels so brittle.

Pretty good
I have this figure I really like but the only problem is that the tail falls off pretty often other than that it’s is a great figure

who you purchase from for legit figure
This figure is not a toy. If you are looks for toys for small kids, this figure contain small parts. It is more for collector. I purchase two time from different sellers. One send a KO version and the other one (CAonline) s sold me a legit version. The package arrive one month earlier then it states. The customer service is friendly and quick. The figure it self is much better than the KO version. I recommend this figure for the collector.

Dont bother
Very disapointed with this item. Plus items missing, meca godzillas head, heaves and some of kongs heads. Also smaller then i was expecting. All in all very, very disapointed. If it wasent for the hassel of haveing to source a printer for return label, i would of sent it back.

Do not buy
This product was faulty when received. I requested to return and I had to pay postage to send it back. Over a month later the parcel returns back to me with the same faulty goods. Not only wasted time but cost of postage too. Very disappointed. Do not buy. And I am still waiting for my refund

Just About Worth It.
Kong's battle axe was VERY hard to fit in Kong's left hand and once I got it in it was very loose, the battle axe kept sliding up and down his hand depending on which way you position the figure. I was able to fix this issue by having Kong hold the battle axe at the bottom of the bone (handle) so it wouldn't stay loose in his hand, but if you were to move it up just a bit or move the battle axe position a bit it would become loose again. The arm peace below the elbow on the left hand side is misplaced. On the right hand side you see the same arm peace but positioned in the right way where you see the heavy hair on thee arm pointing down since...well...heavy hair on a huge gorilla and gravity...you get it, but on the left hand side the heavy hair on his arm is pointing up, there is no way to fix that issue but I'm not returning it for any of the two reasons motioned. The box condition was perfect when it arrived and I've only had this figure for a day now since it arrived and there's not one peace that has fallen out or broken off. Seems this figure is bit more fragile than thee 2021 Godzilla figure so I recommend being as gentile as you can manage with how you play or pose this figure. Figure detail is exactly as seen in the images displayed for the figure. I got this for $87.70 and it was 100% worth it for the price. I hope Amazon doesn't raise the price since this is the only S.H. MonsterArts figure on Amazon.ca that's under $100. I'd recommend this figure for those who love Kaiju but can't afford something that requires a $150 to $250 budget.
