Keeps cold a long time

I bought this instead of the standard water bottle because I really appreciate the super wide mouth, allowing me to put my hand in there with a sponge and clean it perfectly between uses. I will occasionally use it by throwing fresh fruit in with my water too, but I really like the shape, the volume, and the insulation, whatever I end up putting in there. The chug cap is the way to go. No straws and yet you can get a mouthful without it pouring down your front.

This design does not keep drink cold all day like the traditional water bottle

I really like the traditional cup design, unfortunately with the larger lid drinks don’t stay cold as long as the traditional water bottle design. Really not sure about the lid design seems to drip a lot.

It's good...

My usual routine is pouring the milk in before I leave the house and after I work out and get to work I add in the powder and shake (about 90 min between when I put milk inside to when I start drinking). I don't think the top is insulated because my milk was rather room temp when I took a sip and there was condensation forming. I tested a previous bottle and I know after about only 1 hour it should stay very cold. That was disappointing. Also, I'm not a fan of the agitator, it's whatever... I'm still going to keep it because I like the company and there aren't many shaker stainless steel, this one might be one of the 2-3 options on Amazon. Lots of pros such as a wide mouth, inside is round so no hard edges which makes this a breeze to clean, and there's a large capacity.

Damaged in shipping

This was shipped in a padded envelope without any additional bubble wrap or boxing. Unfortunately it arrived damaged. I would return if the returns were the typical easy Amazon returns but they are not. I figure I would eventually cause my own damage to this so I decided to keep it. I just think for this price, it should be perfect upon arrival. So far, I like the shaker and find that it works well, keeps my drink cold, and doesn’t leak. I use if for powdered mix with water. I prefer a stainless or glass container over plastic so this is what I ended up buying.

Takeya is Quality

I've purchased like half a dozen water bottles from Takeya now and when I was looking for an alternative to my crappy plastic shaker cups, I was stoked to see they had one. It's the exact same quality as my water bottles, and I've had them for like 4 years. Dropped them more times than I can count. (Including once dropping my fully loaded 40oz down my wooden basement stairs at like 4am....got damn, it sounded like a tank was in the house.) But they all look and operate as new aside from a small dent in the corner of one when it got dropped from like 6ft fully loaded onto concrete. (Yeah yeah, I'm hard on my stuf...) Couldn't believe it didn't puncture, honestly. They hold ice forever and are just plain awesome. Don't let sticker shock stop you. These things would survive a nuclear bomb. It will outlast any plastic crap and pay for itself a few times over.

Good cup-watch loosing the inner ring

This cup is easy to clean and fits nicely in my cup holder in the car and in my backpack. Only negative I have noticed is the sealing ring between the lid and cup sometimes falls out and I almost lost it the first time it fell out when I was washing the cup. Also, it kept my shake cold for 6+ hours when I was busy at work.

Nice Quality

Very pleased with the overall quality of the tumbler. Has easily kept my coffee hot for the time I need it to. And the opposite does just as good in keeping my drinks cold for the length of time needed so it never feels lukewarm. It’s easy enough to keep clean and the pieces and parts fit nicely together and seams and gaps were consistent throughout the the cup. Very nice. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

Love my cold smoothies

I have been taking plastic out of my food containers so chose this after the stellar reviews. The added benefit is that my morning smoothie now stays cold as I sip at it thru my morning and doesn't sweat and make a mess. Loving it!!
