Decent, But is Top Heavy and Leaks Like Crazy
It is nice enough, but was fiddly to assemble and leaked. Bad. I had to reassemble twice more with teflon tape before the leaks stopped. Perhaps it should be glued. Even with water in the base it is still top-heavy and tips easily. As this is at our neighborhood pool, it is always ending up on the deck. I will fill the base with sand, and if that doesn't help I will find a place to zip tie it up. Not a bad value, but not a great one either. For the money there are others I would consider now.

Quick outdoor shower!
We bought this for a quick outside shower by the pool. I will give 4 out of 5 stars because of the problem with the quick release hose connector that it leaks no matter what I tried to do to it. The first one I ordered had the same issue and thinking it was a faulty connector I returned it and ordered a new one. The new one had the same issue and after reading some of the previous comments and reviews it appears it’s an existing issue. So I wasn’t going to return it again and decided to improvise a fix which was what I did and it worked perfectly. Besides that faulty weak plastic quick release hose connector the whole assembly works great and it’s easy to use. See pictures of the finished product once I make the necessary changes to the connector. It actually better to have it that way. Overall it’s a nice set-up.

You can fix this!
From the previous reviews, I saw this shower had a tendency to leak and fail but since it was cheap I thought I would try it. I don’t understand why they had this flimsy “pop-off” connection at the inlet! As soon as you have enough water pressure to create a spray, the hose connection pops off. My solution was to literally cut off the end of the inlet hose connection and glue a standard threaded PVC hose connector in its place. Since the shower PVC pipe was a weird size, I had trouble filling the gap between it and the replacement connector with enough thin PVC glue to stop leakage so I liberally added a thick “Flex-Glue” sealer to close the gap. So what were they thinking? For $5 in additional supplies, you can end the “pop-off” problem and seal the leak from the mis-matched pipes. If they had done this at assembly time, and raised the price a mere $5, it would have been a 5 star product. Because they didn’t and I had to fix it, the best they can get is a generous 3 stars.

Absolutely love it!
We have a 100 percent off-grid cabin right now while waiting on a final turnkey one for our property. We have several different options, but this one straight from the water hose in the summer works great. We have an open shower building that has no top and we can thrown the hoses over to connect to this, or other devices as well as our backup bag showers. Put together in minutes and worked like a charm. Again, this is just for the summer and maybe into the early fall. Our hot water systems will all be working well long before then, but on a hot summers day you get pretty warm water from this one for several minutes. Never extreme cold in the summer so far even from the water sources itself. Wish will had got one of these to start with when we were working toward final solutions on the off-grid cabin. As you can see in the photo we have the other things we use and are working on right now, but wow was this awesome for a quick simple fix. Honestly I am not seeing any problem with them at all other than yes it is a little light weight, but how we have set up for something outside of what it was originally designed for works great. I am sure you might need to weight it a bit outside or on a pool concrete setting. So just a little more work in those situations most likely is the only thing I would think anyone needs to complain about and as far as leaks, as long as it is in tight there is nothing to worry about!

With a $12 modification, it works pretty good…
As many have said, this outdoor shower could be a lot better. Yes, it’s leaky, and wobbly, with poor quality parts, especially the cheap, weak, quick connect. This is how I fixed some of the issues for $12: 1) saw-off and glue-cap the cheap 1/2” plastic quick-connect T 2) buy a 1” T with a 3/4” pipe thread, saw the main pipe above the old capped connector, but not too high or the shower will be unstable. 3) buy a Brass 3/4” pipe thread to hose thread adapter for the new 1” T 4) buy a set of good Brass quick connects — I use the same brand for all hose connections 5) throw away the awful quality silicone pipe tape, and buy a high-quality roll 6) thoroughly tape all threads in the entire shower fixture, carful to not over-tighten any connection — that can cause leaks! It now works perfectly with no leaks. Yes, it still wobbles, but if you’re careful, it’s not that big a deal. I hope this helps!

Problem with leaks
Several of the reviews complained about leaks, but since this was the only item like this in the product space, I ordered it anyway. It arrived, complete with simple instructions (really, a caveman could do it) including a spool of plumber's teflon tape. The instructions did not indicate how to use the tape although it is critical that the tape be used to prevent leaks and ensure tight fits. Initially, the shower leaked at one of the junctions made at the factory. I unscrewed it and rescrewed it using teflon tape and that fixed the problem. It seemed to be fine, but then began leaking at the place where the hose plugs in. I tried to see if that could be removed and tightened, but it came right off. The adhesive applied at the factory was applied incorrectly! I have some joint adhesive for PVC pipe and I am confident that when I reattach the piece (using the correct process for PVC) it will not leak. This is a very simple process and the adhesive is easy to use and can be found at any hardware store. I suspect that more of the factory-attached components are similarly poorly attached, but there are only a few of these and they can probably all be remedied with PVC adhesive. I gave it 3 stars because it is a great value and can be made to behave properly with just a little after-purchase care, but the factory assembly and instructions leave a lot to be desired.

Good premise but not great quality unfortunately
I like the idea and the look of the outdoor shower but unfortunately I did not listen to many others and figured it might have been a faulty issue for some of the people that got them. Mine was easy to put together and I hooked it up to the hose nozzle outside. Turned it on and yes it did have some leaks but nothing too serious... honestly, I don't care if it leaks a little bit.... but... as soon as you turn up the pressure in the slightest on the hose... the male female end of the hose blows right off and there goes your shower... no more. I had to use a special tape that I had to buy to connect it and make it stay as well as I had to go out and buy a dual connector and another small hose so that I would not have to keep undoing and doing the hose as the connector is pure crap that comes with this shower. Over all, I am using my best MacGyver skills to make this work and it is working. But really you shouldn't have to have a plan to make it work. Like I said, I do like the look of it and once I had it all figured out and fixed up, it works great. Too bad they don't give you better quality parts with it. Hope this helps others.

Easy to install great for what I needed for Now I can take a shower outside at my trailer The adapter hose is weak and doesn't stay on when I turn the water on as you can see in the picture I put duck tape on it to make it stay and still leaking Overall not a bad product to have if you are a handyman

Very low quality item.
This item leaks badly at the entry point of the hose. I tried plumbers tape, rubber washers, and water proof sealing tape; nothing worked. A jet of water shoots out where the hose attaches. I'm going to rebuild it with a new hose adapter. It looks like it was assembled from bargain basement used parts. Terrible workmanship. This item should be removed from Amazon. Do not purchase.

The product is Ok
The on off main valve is set backwards on the main stack. This makes it awkward to turn water on and off to the shower head.I tried to set it to the front with nylon thread lock but it leaks because not totally in the socket. This product is ok nor great.

Waste of money.
Terrible quality. All the fittings leak. Even the fittings I didn't assemble leak. It looks and functions as a toy. Don't waste your money. Worse product I ever bought on line.
