Impressive EDC Pocket Light
I owen the the Streamlight Microstream. That was my EDC light. This WEDGE light though expensive is worth every penny. I do my best to buy "made in the USA" but currently I have not found a better light company. This is a well made light. Changing the pocket retaining clip from left pocket to right pocket to where your thumb is on the on-off switch tells me that someone was thinking in the development process. Having a USB C type charging capability is up to date. I have many C type charging plug just about everywhere. It fits in my pocket as claimed. The clip retention is stout. "I saw someone's post of a broken clip. To me that won't happen in normal use" I can't verify the 1000 lumens but it's a blinding light, which is exactly what I need if I get into trouble. Being a IPX7 is a plus. The switch, charging light, casing and light is high quality. The only negative would be the wrist lanyard. It might fit a baby wrist cause it's very small. It's not even close to being a deal breaker. This will now be part of my EDC kit. I'm expecting this light to last and be there for me in an emergency.

No regrets
I have gone through multiple EDC lights that keep breaking clips or stop working altogether. I hesitated to spend $80 on a flashlight but read a review above that changed my mind. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. This light is built solid and exceeds every expectation I had. Extremely bright and the clip is built to last years. It's a little larger than I expected but fits comfortably in the pocket and I hardly know it's there thanks to the wedge design. When pulled from the pocket my thumb is immediately on the power switch and that is important to me. Streamlight knocked it out of the park with this one. I hope this review helps someone to pull the trigger and own one themselves

Suitable for lighting up everyday situations
I’ve carried this light for approximately a year now. I used it almost every day. Initially I purchased it while working as a jailer, and found it was easy to carry, the two brightness settings helped with not blinding people as I checked doors, or turn up the intensity when needed. Once I moved to patrol I went to night shift, and usually used this for vehicle stops or walking around inside a dark room or residence. The throw isn’t very far. Anything past 10 yards and you’ll need to bump up to a stronger light if you need to see details like hands clearly. It doesn’t do great at cutting through photonic barriers, so when it comes to tinted glass or privacy glass this isn’t your guy. But I find it useful when I’m at a car side trying to read an ID, insurance, or write a citation. It doesn’t blind the person sitting in the car as I stand with the light over them, but if something changes and I need to see in the car quickly I can bump the light to high power. The way it came in the box was set up for a right hand carry. I swapped the clip with so it is on the same side as the switch. This makes it easy to pull out of my left pocket and immediately have my thumb in the right spot. This is think enough to conceal in your hand, but also hold in place while shooting if you don’t have a weapon light on a pistol. Again, the throw isn’t ideal, but it fits in a pinch. I like that the switch has a charging indicator built in. Plug it in, light turns red. Fully charged, light turns green. If you use it for just every day stuff, I can go a week or two without charging it and noticing it dimming. It doesn’t get to dim, but the high power setting goes away. It last me all through one 12 hour shift of pretty regular use, but I just slap it on a charger when I get home in the morning and it’s ready the next night. The only time I’ve seen this light actually drain the battery and die I was on a crime scene and stuck it in a cone turned on to help illuminate the cone so cars could see it. It stayed like that for probably an hour. I had used it prior to that call, and for the rest of the investigation for afew hours, so it lasted quite some time. My biggest gripe is probably that the USB-C port is on top and faces up. I wouldn’t be as concerned about it if had a cover on it. It’s completely exposed to the elements. The coating on the light is great. Down in Texas, the heat and sweat from being in a pocket hasn’t done to much wear to the coating, just on the edges which is to be expected. Even when the light is on for an extended amount of time, it’s not hot. The body can get alittle warm, but never unbearable. For $100ish bucks, it’s definitely worth it’s price. It’s not really designed to be a far out light, instead more of small jobs. If I lost today I’d be ordering another asap. Not only do I recommend to a friend, I’ve given a couple as gifts to friends.

The best pocket utility light ever made
I rarely write reviews, but this flashlight is worthy of it. This is my second one was I unfortunately lost my other one. I use this flashlight dozens of times a day and it has never let me down. Battery seems to last forever and it’s plenty bright. There’s no better pocket light you’ll ever own. The clip allows it to be easily accessible clipped inside your pocket without having to fumble around for it. Especially convenient when wearing gloves. The quality is top notch as expected from stream light. And as a Flashlight snob who owns dozens of flashlights from Surefire, Maglite, Phoenix, Olite, etc. This is the best there is. No question.

Will ride comfortably in a pocket.
Seems actually about 100 lumens- which is plenty! More than that and you'd run battery down fast while blinding yourself. Uses the same charging cable as my cellphone, so id fantastic for traveling. Fits in pocket just like a folding knife. A little longer than some knives though. It comes with a parachord loop to help pull out of pocket, but I learned years ago that a loop can catch on things. (Drawer knob anyone?). So I untied the loop, made a knot onto the clip and let the rope dangle. Is now as complicated as a zipper pull. I'm an old school mechanic (we are picky about tools; snap-on, streamlight, Leatherman, 5.11 and Dewalt only). This is my EDC flashlight now.

Excellent work light
Fits in the trouser pocket perfectly, a very nice long lasting and bright light, definitely worth spending the little extra for the quality.
