Most Excellent water shoe
I found everything I liked with these and no dislikes at all. The slightly thicker sole and extra grip is fantastic, especially if you need to walk over some reef or rocks to get out to the surf! Very durable and kept my feet from freezing in 54degree water. Very happy with these!

Used these in 55 degree water!
I surfed for over two hours in these in water in the mid-50s. Even though they’re for tropical water, they work well in colder water too. My toes were starting to get a bit numb over the two-hour mark, but that’s still good considering that my feet were fully submerged most of the time. I also like that they’re low-cut and not full-on booties. Regular booties that are a higher cut have always given me trouble when putting them on and taking them off. These are much easier, and still warm and comfortable.

Will buy again and again.
Love these for windsurfing. Warmish with decent foot protection. Perfect for cool days in the water where the bottom may have some oysters to step on. I don't notice any benefit between the split toe and full versions for sailing. I've had both. The only thing I don't like is that they bunch up a bit on the bottom when pushing my foot into the board straps. No fault of the booties though. I wear them out about every 15 months.

Ignore all the buy up and down a size posts and read this
These shoes are so dope! I wear a size 10.5 but if I can't find a 10.5 I'm closer to a 10 than I am an 11. So I decided to go with a 10 and they fit absolutely perfect. I've read reviews about going a whole size up and a whole size down I'd honestly ignore those and go maybe a half size down or go true to size bc they will expand a bit in water by you got to remember they have elastic around the ankle and a big Velcro strap across the top of your foot so they're not going anywhere. Lastly, I was hesitant about the split toe idea but when you true them on it's barely noticeable. 10 min later you won't even be able to notice the split. It's not as dramatic of a split as it appears on the outside of the shoe - just a small separation inside that works great! Phenomenal product and fair price.

I wear a shoe size 9 1/2 or 43 Euro almost every shoe that I own. This shoe comes in either 9US or 10US. Bought the 9 and its way too small. my second toe bend and hurt just walking inside the house. Returned and bought the 10US . Fits like a glove. SO if you wear a shoe size 9 1/2 then most likely you will need a 10. Or 11US if you like to wear it a little more comfortable and 10 if you like glove like feel. AS for the quality and durability....i will update in the nest review

Do not hold up over time
The rubber that comes up on top of the foot is no longer attached. Whatever they use to glue this to the neoprene does not hold up over time. Mine are barely 2 years old and only worn maybe 30 times for an hour or so. Very normal wear and they came apart.

Buy them.
After using these for 5 months for windsurfing I have no complaints. I wear size 10 in tennis shoes and I ordered size 10 of the Oneill's. Found them to fit true. The sole is thin enough to not interfere w/straps on the board and does not inhibit bending/arching of the foot. I usually keep them on while crossing the gravel on the way to the car from the water and the gravel still seems to feel somewhat sharp on the bottom of the foot. I dont believe they are designed for use on gravel and sharper surfaces but I thought I would share my experience. I am happy that I purchased them and would buy them again. My 2 cents.

Great windsurf bootie
Use these for my beginner windsurf sessions. I spend more time swimming or walking than sailing so these are perfect foot protection. Excellent grip on the board too.
