Perfect Replacment

Belt filt perfectly.

Hard to say

It’s hard to give an accurate review because it broke on the first use. Have not yet determined why and not sure I’ll be able to without buying another. The original belt was at least 5 years old and came on an old hand me down walk-behind mower from a generous neighbor. That belt eventually broke when I recently ran over a large stick in some high grass which dislodged it and the blade tore it up. The new Stens belt seemed made of good quality and was generally easy to install considering that it must be tight to work properly so it does take a bit of elbow grease to install but it does fit snug. There was no stick involved in the replacement failing. NOTE: I may have gotten a few drops of Fluid Film on it while treating some surface rust on the mower body AFTER installing. I didn’t want to remove it and have to reinstall it again so I generally covered it best I could. According to the can, this should not have been a problem. I guess I’ll have to inspect the mower to see if I can spot any restrictions or damage that would cause failure and possibly buy a new one. The mower is useless without one.

Perfect fit for my MTD Honda mower.

Purchased another belt on Amazon and it was slightly smaller (even though listed as same size). This one fit perfect.

My mower propels like new again!

My self propelled mower slowly started turning itself into a push mower. This belt replacement was perfect. Pulls itself through the high grass like a champ again!

Best 20 minutes of lawn cutting before breaking

It has been many years since I’ve been without my mower pulling me around. All I needed was the belt to complete the system. I was perfectly happy pushing the mower around the lawn. When one maintenance day I got the idea and said “why not” The belt went on easy. And I started it up to test it out. Nothing unusual and everything seemed to be working fine. The next day I start cutting the grass and used the self propel feature about 6 times on long stretches of the yard. It was nice. Then the mower started making a weird sound and shaking. I stoped it and checked out things and saw the belt had broke. Luckily it was as easy to remove as it was install. I put the belt to the side and carried on. Pushing the mower as I did for years knowing that this would be my life now. 2 stars: only an extra one for the belt’s thickness and materials prevented a potential catastrophic failure when it got wrapped in the blade.

Perfect replacement fit for Troybilt mower

This fit my Troy bilt self propelled mower perfectly. Finally had to replace it after 15 years. This is this belt for the front drive wheels. The price was right, packaging was great and shipping were fast. Very pleased
