The most amazing rod holders… So easy to use!

I had originally purchased the Scotty rod holders and then I noticed the stealth brand. I watched several YouTube videos and was convinced that this was a much easier rod holder to use. When there is a strike, all you do is grab your rod and pull as if you were going to set the hook and your rod comes free from the rod holder. Additionally, no matter what shape your rod is, this holder grabs it in a rubber cradle and hold it tight so that it cannot be pulled out unless you release it. The bases for the stealth are almost the exact same bolt design as the Scotty. I literally took to Scotty rod holders off my boat and installed the stealth and I’m so glad I did. Both my daughter and I absolutely love these rod holders and believe that they were an incredible addition to our little John boat build. I highly recommend them to anyone! They are far better than the competition.

Rubber rod lock mechanism will fail.

These are not for serious fishing use. After one year of heavy use the rubber rod grip mechanism has failed. I purchased two complete sets with extensions and now I have some EXPENSIVE parts I can’t use anymore. What a shame because they were cool while they lasted. Note I wash and take care of my gear, so it’s not like I didn’t take care of them.

Sturdy, secures pole and reel simply, one hand to release the gripping mechanism.

Solid security, the pole and reel doesn't flop around in the holder, but sits firmly gripped by the mechanism, which engages and disengages instantly with one hand. Nothing flimsy or cheaply made about it.

All around awesome rod holder

Installed on my Hobie Outback. Worked perfectly! I used the Stealth backer plate and this thing was on point. Solid customer service from Jason and Cari matched this solid product! This thing definitely held up to catching fish on the troll. My rods (spinning and casting) never budged with fish on! Will definitely purchase another.

Excellent rod holder

I recently purchased one of these rod holders for my Hobie outback I was very impressed with the function design and build quality, liked it enough to purchase a second one and an extension, well done Stealth.

Heavy duty quality

This rodholder is exactly as advertised. It is of very good quality and the package included all parts as shown in the diagram. Since I haven't used it yet I could not rate it as a five.

Easy removal

Nicest small freshwater rod holder I have ever used. It securely holds spinning and bait casting rods. Its extremely easy to use, but most of all you can simply lift it out to set the hook.

Looks good but need to return one

I ordered two based upon positive reviews. When I received, one was obviously a return and wasn’t even a Stealth Rod holder. So make sure you inspect each item. It would have been easy to put this package away for installation in a couple weeks - possibly missing return window and at a minimum delaying installation on boat. The actual rod holder looks good - much more compact than the Scotty and holds the rod very securely with the cam lock system. Smart design - the real test will be how long the flexible parts last. It looks and feels very well built.
